Looks to be a gorgeous day here today. I will try to be very organized at work so I can rush home and squeeze in some yard work. Can't wait to get out there! We are forecast to hit 70* this weekend. Wayyyyyy better than the snow we had last weekend. Other than that, just a regular day at work.

Ruth, hope you are all right after your fall yesterday. Cyndi, you made me laugh when you said exercise is dangerous. But gardening counts as exercise too.

Nikki, hang in there; hopefully you are feeling better and your cravings are decreasing.

"Body all achin' and wracked with pain" this morning. So grateful for ibuprofen or whatever it's called. A hot shower and another coffee should help but I'm sure glad I dragged the trash to the road last night instead of waiting until now! The sun is just coming up and it bodes well for a proper spring day.

Not sure of today's agenda except I need to hie me to the bank to get floats for the Mill and Town Hall sales plus some sandwich making fixin's for the sandwiches I supply for Day 2 for the folks working the grills. The very favourite is peanut butter and grape jelly on white bread! So much for healthy eating - it's the Syrup Festival. It's going to be a gloriously sunny and warm weekend and there is lots of syrup and I hope the producers do well.

Garden clean-up was on the schedule for today but there's no way unless I really drug-up. Wendy aka "Gardener On The Go" has me on her schedule and will be around soon. She does and excellent job of cutting back and adding more mulch and can do the whole front of the house in about three hours. Worth every penny!

Time for that coffee and shower. Gotta keep moving so I don't stiffen up.

We are getting up to 70 degrees today and the weekend will be the same so nice. WFH day I do have several meetings on the agenda. The scale is finally going back down again so it's out of it's time out.

Beth hope you are able to get home early enough to do some gardening

Ruth sorry to hear that you are so sore this morning. Did you get your shoulder checked out yesterday?

Ruth- Sorry to hear you are hurting. Did the Dr say you were ok just bruised I hope?

Beth- I hope you make it home to garden. We are going into the 70's here today as well. I am planning on starting some seeds this weekend. Today I am switching my wardrobe. I think it finally may be safe to put away the winter clothes. I'll leave a few sweaters out though.

Yesterday was a much better day for me. I ordered a large salad for dinner and had no problems. I also snacked if I was hungry and that helped. Today will be a busy one again. I have to head out to my storage unit and sort through stuff. It is a huge task as it consists of stuff from my mother's estate and stuff I took from my 4 bedroom house when I got separated. I now live in a 1 bedroom apartment. Then tonight is another dinner with a friend. She was going to make pizza but I told her I couldn't eat that so we will have chicken and I will make a big salad.

Today I am thankful Ruth wasn't seriously hurt! Treadmills are evil lol. Ruth did you get your shoulder checked? I wonder when my landscaper will make his first appearance. They haven't raised their prices since I started using them in 2010. Worth every penny especially since my days off were reduced.

Pearlrose glad you FIL wasn't seriously hurt either. Since you are WFH, can you WFH outside?

Beth enjoy your time after work. What time do you get home? It's nice having extra daylight again.

Guess what? Same old story here lol. I do need to pick up soda and water for the luncheon after the funeral tomorrow. Darci, a mutual friend, was asked to handle it for the family. Smart cookie reached out to those she knew were attending and asked for help. The weather will be beautiful for the funeral. I am extremely thankful my mom is healthy and very active at 71. I really lucked out in the mom department. I have a great one.

Guess I should figure out my new work phone and get the day started. Think I will get a walk in before work.

Nicole - I’m so sorry to hear that your GM is sick - I hope she gets well soon! I’m still debating over starting seeds indoors or just buying plants for those things I can’t plant seeds directly outside.

Pearl - Oh, no, so glad that your FIL is going to be ok but I agree that staying out of trees is probably a good idea!! So glad the scale is moving again for you - hard to stay motivated when it doesn’t cooperate!

Ruth - Those treadmills are killers - I hope you get to feeling better soon. I like Wendy already! Would she like to come down to Colorado to do some clean up here?!? I’m dreading it.

Cyndi - Counting down to vacation is awesome!!

Beth - I hope your workday goes quickly and you get some fun in the sun in!

Jennifer - Enjoy your walk - I keep telling myself I need to do that to get my day started but then the snooze button is so tempting!

Today is my Friday since I am taking a vacation day tomorrow! I have lots to get done at work and then I need to get some housework done so I can relax on my long weekend.
