Believe it or not, weight gain/relationship problems aside, I'm doing GREAT. I am happy because I'm the only person in the world who gets to decide whether I'm going to be happy or miserable. I was SO HAPPY when I was losing all that weight - from 370 down to 209. Then I was gradually more and more miserable when I was slowly gaining some of it back.
Now, I have my NEW goal outfit hung on my closet door and I will be wearing it very, very soon.
As a bonus, I tried on my OLD goal jeans a couple nights ago and, good gracious, they fit. I wouldn't go out in public in them because the thighs are worn through now (I wore them every day for months) but hey. Yeah I've gained some around the middle, arms and legs, and in my face. But friends tell me they can already see that I've lost weight from last month - and my friends are the kind who'll be the first to tell you, "your slip is showing." They're not flatterers.
I pretty much didn't eat or sleep for the last two weeks of May and probably dropped 15-20 lbs quickly but Baby I'm Back and totally on plan, with an intelligent plan, not misery and starvation. I'm hitting the gym 4 times a week and I'm still doing the very low carb but with a twist - I'm doing the same diet I've put my dogs on when they need to lose weight. Low low carb + green beans. It's the human version of the green bean diet. I'll let you know how it works.
