Well, It's be awhile since I posted on here. Since July I do believe...of this I am not so proud
. A lot happened in a little bit of time though, and as most know when the stress increases in your life so does your eating...at least mine does. I basically stopped counting calories. I have no excuse for it other then I thought I could do it without it. My motivation...3 Fat Chicks was put by the wayside as a result of moving home where the internet was sparse, and running around the state of Indiana for job interviews following graduation in August! But I found a job, My husband and I moved to a brand new town and it's time to put the focus back on changing me.
I have found a new doctor down here in Evansville. I went in with a list of things to talk about (3) and they were all related to the elephant in the room (@ least with most doctors) my weight! I've contemplated gastric bypass and the lap-band repeatedly and intensely and I just don't feel like it's an option for me at this point in my life. (I'm 23). I feel like I'm at a point where I can make a life style change. I've already changed so much! So a few more things, should be do able, they just must be the forefront of my life.
Well after discussing with my Dr. about my eating style (although I still don't think he believes me) he said he wanted to put me on a pill for a month and see what happened. After a couple of late night's researching this pill and some consultations with friends I decided to give it a whirl. In 3 weeks I lost 9 lbs without much change. So, I feel as though if I put my mind to it. I could do better!
I just felt compelled to share this for some reason. I perused the site all night, constantly reminded of why I enjoyed it so much earlier this year and the resounding reason is the support! So here I am. I want to be a part of the Goal Photo Album. I've already reached my first goal when I first signed on of making it to 295 ( I refuse to ever see 300 again) with 291. Goal number 2 is 280 @ my next doctor's appointment! (He said I should lose 15 lbs a month, I think that's a bit much so we will see)!
