Default sick for a week, didn't track calories :/

I've had the worst cold since last thursday, it knocked me out for a few days and really drained my energy. I listened to my boyfriend and mom and waited to go to the gym until I feel entirely better, which will be later today. 1st time in a week and a half.
I tried my best to make good decision about what I was eating and count in my head so I roughly stayed in range but the last 3 days I've been super stressed and I know I went over.
I feel like I fell hard and need to get refocused so I tracked for today and am gyming later.

sdkljfsdkjfklsdj I'm so frustrated by the whole cold thing, it really ruined my focus.

wow! I just went through the same thing! except I was horribly sick for about 2 weeks! and I have been WAY off plan, great thing is I some how managed to maintain my weight and not gain.. today is my first day back on plan and I feel good! SO you'll be ok! the main part is hoping back on the wagon as soon as you can!

I am right there with you, ZMOG! This cold or whatever just keeps hanging on and WILL NOT GO AWAY!!! I am to the point of either kill me or go away. I have so much work to do, and sewing, and housework and I have been complettely useless for a week.

I also can't work out because just going upstairs wears me out. It's making me miserable. What's worse is it seems like every time I start a diet/exercise thing I get sick right after. It's happened for years. :-(

Anyway, I have been tracking but since I don't want food when I am sick it's actually making me eat.

Same here!
On the sick and no gym part.
Trying to keep the food intake lower as a result but it is harder when you feel so blah and do not want to eat many of your usual foods.

I had this for a few days a couple of weeks ago, thought I had beaten it then it came back *stronger*.

It is good to listen to one's body in terms of resting when it needs to though.

I hope we all feel better soon!

That is totally what happened to me too! I had it for like 2-3 days then I felt a little meh but better and better each day till Sunday and WHAM! It hit me like a ton of bricks and I have been miserable ever since. I CALL SHENANIGANS!!!!

I feel better and have been counting calories and will be going to the gym today!

Colds really suck. I had one myself about a month (or less) back. Then when that was starting to go away I got a cold sore and now that is gone and I have an ear infection in my left ear and it HURTS!! I'm popping aspirin to kill the pain.

I'm wondering what G*d plans on throwing at me when this is gone. LOL.
