Since I'm awake I thought I'd start the day here. I couldn't sleep so I get up and took my heart and BP meds as they make me sleepy. My shoulder seems better. I'm trying to relax it, ice it and do the exercises I was shown. Fifty years of over-use is the problem, I think.
What is everyone doing for New Years Eve? We may go to church, if my shoulder feels up to it. We will be spending the evening at home as it is cold out there! If we make it to midnight I'll be amazed. Us old people need our rest!
Today I have to laundry DH's dressy clothing for work. Maybe I'll get to the sewing room for a while. Other than that, nothing is planned. Take care now and God bless!
Hope you are back to sleep by now, Tippy. I may join you as I've decided to skip Church this morning and nurse a dumb cold/cough thing that I suspect I picked up from my relatives over Christmas. The pups are settled in their pen chomping one of those gross pig's ear things - they love it! Hershey is nesting on my Irish mohair blanket. And I am going to crawl back into bed for a bit - knew there was a reason not to make it at 5:30 when I got up!
We are getting more snow right now but nothing like some areas. I think I will finally get out my long winter boots today - the duckie boots just don't cut it in 8" of snow. I hate wearing boots!
Foster puppy goes back to Morna's today. I will miss the little sweetie but it will be nice to have half the puddles. Lucy will miss him too but Momma Hershey has turned into a puppy again and will play with her. Fun times ahead! Can hardly wait for the spring meadow walks with two of them.
Have to think of something gourmet for dinner tonight as it's our Anniversary - the 18th. Steak on the GF Grill?

VERY snowy here right now, blowing all over the place. Looks like we piled on an extra foot overnight. Much worse south of us and poor Buffalo--8 feet of snow in 24 hours! Seems hard to imagine!
Visiting on the agenda today--my dh's coworker would like us to come over for a visit sometime today and this evening we are going out to dinner to Swiss Chalet with our neighbours. I am saving that for my Reward Meal. Other than that, just shivering through the day!

I too chose to skip church, however I am taking DS to Sunday school at 9:30. Then I am going to do a little shopping. We have relatives in and it has been fun. We ate a BUSHEL of oysters last night...it was heaven!!!!
Gotta work tommorrow and then off on New Years Day..no plans at all! Staying home with DH....gonna take down Christmas probly!!! Have a great Sunday everyone!!!
Good morning to everyone up so early, and so energetic. I am trying to get the house straightened up today, it's been a week of just tossing stuff down where it's lands, and all the Christmas stuff is still out- gift boxes and storage containers and all. So this morning is for that, and sorting the mail pile, and doing bills. This afternoon, I'll take the sweet neice to the movies, while her parents go to the afternoon wake for granpa. In the evening, we will take her for a little bit, then I'll take her home and we'll play and play and play! I am getting very good at the Harry Potter computer game, and know many Pokemon characters by heart!
New Years Eve morning is the mass and burial for BIL's dad, then a luncheon with the family. I think in the evening we may just stay home and have a quiet dinner. DS had some beef filets for a cancelled dinner party from last night, we just might be the recipients of those! I bought some nice salad greens and the Trader Joes green beans- they have these skinny frozen ones that are so good sauteed with garlic and olive oil and a little rosemary or basil.
New Years Day is just to stay home, read, cook, maybe a little shopping-if I get adventurous!
Tippy its a good day to go back to bed and snuggle in and let winter do its thing outside. So sorry about your shoulder. Hope it gets better soon.

Guess I may try to go out today. But not till later but need to get my salad stuff and food to start my CAD. DH moved my treadmill in to another room so I'll have a better view of a different wall! LOL.... I'll give it a blessing today and tell it to get ready... Need to clean the kitchen floor today to... OOO how exciteing....
I don't know what happened. Friday I weighed 222 at the Dr.'s fully dressed. This afternoon I weigh 218!! All that fasting from this killer sore throat must be to blame. Do you think I will put it back on when I start eating right? Probably, but I will revel in it while it lasts!! Hooray for me!!

I know that most of you will be long gone and off to better things than to go back and read this. but i just want to say that i have had several wonderful days. my in-laws were here and we had a great visit. i made a huige roast for sat and huge chicken for sunday and i had all the fixings MMMMM.. i am totally off plan but am ready for tomorow and ready to hit the band wagon hard. i hope to have you all jon me on that. even if it is to xcathc a ride for a while.
I have got a large amount of ols picts that my MIL snet up to me. I have been working on enlarging them.. I have learned to use the scanner!! And i still make mistakes so i must use the cheep paper but i can do it even if i have to so it 5 times to get it correct. DH has some big plans for me to do some photo restoration. UUUMMMM I am just a novice at it. but maybe some day i can do it.
well i am off to balance the checkbook and hope that it does not hit me in the face!!!! and hope that i still have something in there to pay some bills!!!
