I'm quite because I've been a bit blah recently, but I'm feeling a bit better now. I've had rubbish runs, strained some muscles, had my car die on me and generally felt rubbish, but I definitely feel better today, I played netball for work, and i've had a couple of nice cycle rides in the sunshine. I might be up to running club tomorrow hopefully (although having no car means I'll have to cycle home afterwards which is always touch).

the good news is that despite feeling like I've been eating constantly for the past month or so, I'm still 149 which is a bit of a relief.

Hello Lou!

YP and I went CLIMBING!!!! So I am more than ready to try out The Castle - or also over in Amersham, The Climb!!!! If you're up for it, let me know!

I am quiet because my ribs are cracked and I'm pissed off that I haven't finished grading for my brown belt yet. No-one needs to hear me moping!

DH and I are camping at the weekend - I'm taking extra pillows to lie on and then the weekend after we are riding to Cornwall on the bike to see the in-laws.

Marathon training is out the window at the moment, as is kickboxing as is the gym. I hope I will be able to rescue everything in 2 or 3 weeks and I won't have buggered things up too much!

Sorry Chris I moved some posts over from the July thread and now you haven't started the thread officially. I always forget the name changes.

Thanks Veggie - for a moment I had to scratch my head. I could not remember starting off the thread - I have only just remembered it is now August!!!

2 UGH moments.

The first one was realising I had put the wrong clothes on - a tight fitting top with low waisted trousers. I have a lovely (not) 'pregnant' looking stomach now - ok it is there normally but today's combination of (non) style really shows it off to a tee. As I am commuting from a friend's house I am relying on what clothes I had brought with me. As it has been nice weather wise I did not wear a jacket so it looks even worse (there was me moaning about the rain but at least I get to cover up!!)

The 2nd ugh! - [I] got a lovely berry smoothie from M&S - As a fly had been buzzing around the top I poured it into a cup. I was slurping away merrily when I came across a berry - in a smoothie???- you've guessed it - the bloomin' fly fell in the cup! I spat it out and run like the wind to the loo where I rinsed my mouth out and wiped my lippie off. Ugh I hate flies!!!!

Chris - I would love to go to Niagara Falls (but standing well back cos I am a fraidy when it comes to heights. Walking miles in flip flops eh? Hope Hannah hasn't got a blister!

@ Veggie, I'm glad you put the other bits in, I have no clue how to do that luvey

UGH... Peacock... at least you didn't swallow the fly? I'm not too keen on heights, but you don't get that scary feeling at Niagara....most of the time, you're at the bottom, I'll post some piccies later on.

Hot and humid here today, we're off to the beach to frazzle...see you all later

I still haven't got round to having my car jump started, so I went to the supermarket on the bike. I highly recommend it for stopping you buying ice cream and junk! I'll probably get them out to do the car on Sunday when I've got some time to take it out for a decent drive to recharge the battery, it's nice weather for cycling at the moment anyway.

I looked at my stats and I've cycled 55 miles this week . I've only run 6 though, but I'm hoping to do a long run on Sunday to make up for it. I bought myself some pannier bags yesterday and it was so nice not having a sweaty back today!

Hi all. Trying to keep up with my exercise this week. Decorating whole house at mo. Ordered a conservatory and awaiting delivery of bathroom suite. We're installing bathroom suite and conservatory ourselves. Not had a good week calorie wise. Take away Monday and a meal out on Tuesday. Plus T.O.M has left me feeling urgh. Will see what the damage is at weigh in on Monday.
