Me: 180, up 3 pounds from last week. Ugh. Just ugh. I'm going to blame this on my monthly, but something strange is going on with that. For the past two months, it's been coming around about three day early. Maybe I'm getting ready to go through the change, which is messing up my body rhythms? I dunno, but I gotta get this under control. But... the factory is closed next week, and I'm going to be off nine days in a row. This might be a rough period for me, but I'm not going to give up regardless of what is happening.
174.5, down a lb from last week. This is unusually small for my weight loss thus far (steadily -2, and two weeks in a row -2.5), which is a bit dissapointing. However, I'm hoping it is just a matter of me starting a new "improved" workout plan, plus the fact that I ended up eating at restaurants for 3 meals this past week.... sigh. I'll try harder this coming week!
Tealeaf, don't sweat the gain. Just make sure you stick to your plan and enjoy your days off! Busy yourself doing things you love so you're not worried about food all the time
I still find it a little unbelievable that I'm below 200 (haven't been here for 9 years) and I find myself staring at the scale in awe. Now that I'm approaching the 180's I hardly know what to do with myself I'm in such disbelief!! lol
Still at 163 as of now, though I tend to see a little drop in my weight over the weekend. It's kind of ironic, as I don't exercise as much during the weekends, but maybe I'm just giving my sore muscles a chance to stop retaining water... or something.
I didn't check in last week, my husband was on the computer and I had a 2 or 3 pound gain, and I wasn't happy. I ate too much over the WE, AGAIN. I started bingeing, sooo, all this week I have been super strict, well close to super, I haven't given up wine. but I have been watching the food, and exercising, so now I weigh 167.8, (oh but yesterday was a solid 166, can I keep that?).
My mini goal is to see 165 or 164 next Friday. There is some restaurant this WE, but I think it will be sushi.
It also is TOM, so I am not totally unhappy with the 167, usually I would see 170.
I find myself staring at the scale in awe....I hardly know what to do with myself I'm in such disbelief!! lol
I get the same way. When I saw I was ACTUALLY losing weight, I put one of my 5 pound weights on the scale to make sure it was accurate, then I tried it with 10, 20, 50, THEN my girlfriend... just to make sure the scale wasn't just playing tricks on my mind.
well...technically i was up a pound today to 158...but it is TOM so i am not too worried about it. My kids are going off with their grandparents for the next two weeks, so i have plenty of time to be hitting the gym and eating healthy. Next week should be better.
Rosemarie...i say keep the 166. You did see it yesterday, so you may be retaining a little water from last nights dinner.
Tealeaf, it'll be okay. You'll drop that 3 in no time. YOu are doing soo good.
Wisher, i know how hard it can be to believe you are really weighing a weight you haven't seen in FOREVER!!! Congrats and look out 180's!!!!
NightengaleShane...I know what you mean about seeing the drop on the weekends. I too tend to retain during the week with sore muscles. I'm sure you'll see a drop by sunday. Just keep up the good work.

Lumifan - you only gained ONE pound at your TOM? That's GREAT! That is an accomplishment in and of itself. Seriously... I end up gaining 5-8, though I'm hoping this time, maybe I won't gain so much *crosses fingers*
Nightengaleshane: I know what you mean! My weightloss always seems to appear on the monday after the weekend. I also slack on exercise on the weekends, and teh past two weekends I was bad and got a kids popcorn at the movie theatres and still so a pound weightloss each monday. It's bizarre how some of our bodies work. I'm not going to complain though!

Hmmm... I FINALLY after almost two weeks at 188 dropped a pound and am now 187!! !! Blargh... it was so difficult to stay motivated and eating right when you just see the scale being stubborn. My trousers are feeling looser but i'm not sure whether I've stretched them out for the day . As for measurements I haven't really seen a massive difference to be honest I may have lost half an inch here or there I have no idea because I can't ever seem to measure the exact same place... ... one morning it will say 18" measure myself two hours later and its like 19" lol.. Well at least I know i have rubbish measuring skills.
I want to give a massive to all you girls who lost or maintained... well done. And for those of us who may have put on... well "TO **** WITH THE SCALE" okay sorry... i'm in an incredibly strange mood today. to all of you and keep going... we can all do this!!!
