Brown rice is good for you. It's loaded with fiber and nutrients, including protein, and helps keep you full. The good carbs keep your energy up and help you feel better

When I followed phase 1, I ate the full 2 cups of brown rice every day, along with a cup of oatmeal, loads of veggies, and everything else on the list. It came to around 1300 cal per day and I lost 6 pounds As far as I know, everyone that has done this has lost weight.

What kind of diets have you tried in the past?

I would suggest you buy the book or get it out of your local library. This way you can follow the plan to a tee and have it all laid out for you.

I also questioned this at first. I am on my second day and although I only had a cup of rice today (at lunch) I started becoming afraid because I tend to bloat up when I eat a lot of rice and bread. So of course this made me nervous....but I am going to follow it and see what happens.

This is my second go around on the FSD. And the first time Doing detox I didn't eat any brown rice because I didn't think I would like it. But this time I am using the recommended amount and I feel fuller. I read somewhere that brown rice has a lower GI than white rice so its actually better for you. Good Luck WE can do it!

Hi, I have also ate 2 full cups of the brown rice a day, loaded with veggies, yogurt fruit smooties, oat meal, etc and have been losing the whole time.

Seriously, try the rice, it makes you feel ALOT fuller!!

Good luck!
