  • Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy here at work and haven't had a chance to read much of the thread even. I'm still walking during lunch, whether someone is walking with me or not. Last night I went home and walked the dog for 10 minutes and then went inside and did 20 minutes of an aerobic video. I felt great afterwards! We don't have a bunch of sugary snacks laying around the house to tempt me either, just fruit! I gained a pound back when I weighed in yesterday so I am determined to really lose this week and I'm talking 2 lbs.

Better get back to work now. Have a great day everyone!

  • I walked briskly for 30 mins. this morning and another 30 mins. this afternoon. I'm so excited that I can do this again. I'm on my way now!

Shauna, that is so great that you're walking during your lunch break. And congrats for doing 20 mins. of the video and taking your doggie out for a walk. All of these things take time, but you're right, you feel so good afterwards.

Jusdoit, I'm always super impressed with the amount of exercise you do, even if you think it didn't meet your goal for the week. There are lots of people who think exercising isn't worth the trouble at all. But you get up early and swim, run and workout! Good job, my friend. I hope you have a good trip, too.

    Super hugs to all,
    Dena
  • Dena, ok we'll lose weight together!!!
Jusdoit: I got out the Hot Point book from the library today. I was thinking of you! I'm really curious about it, especially with winter supposedly on the way.

Well, we had another gorgeous day in Minnesota so my dad and I went on a 22 mile bike ride with Emmett in the trailer. Emmett fell asleep which is really the main reason we attempted to go that far. He doesn't totally care for being in it, but it's getting better now that he seems to know that we stop on at the very fun playground on the way home.

Still trying to stay away from sweets. I had some Saturday and some last night but it's much much better than eating them every night.
    In Christ,
    Pamela
  • I guess this thread is getting kind of long, so I'll start Everyday Exercisers #2. Let's all meet there.

    Hugs,
