  • Woohoo!!
    Not sure if this 40-somethings group is members only, but I didn't know where else to share. Started with a boot camp/nutrition program two weeks ago, and just had my first weigh in. Lost 5 lbs. and my body fat went down 2% and I'm just so excited, I wanted to post it! In the old days, I wouldn't have been so excited about 5 pounds down in 2 weeks. Too slow for me. Now I can see that I'm in it for the long haul, and I'm heading in the right direction. Have a great weekend everyone, and thanks for letting me celebrate out loud!

    Dear Body and Metabolisim

    Here's the deal. I will exercise 5-6 days a week at least 45 minutes at a time. I will stay on my WW plan and not use ANY of the extra points that I could use if interested. In many cases I will even eat LESS than the daily points I am aloted. I will eat vegetables that I dislike and forego MANY of my favorite foods in order to acheive my goals. By doing all this I have calculated that I will be in a calorie deficit of AT LEAST 10000 per week.

    You, in tun, every Friday, will show at LEAST a 2# loss. Sometimes a 3# loss. That's the deal. Don't mess with me again. This bulls*&%t of .4 # loss will not be tolerated again.
