Yes she did. Something I have started to do when we have get together is ask people to bring certain things. Some people have always done this with get together. That way not everyone is bringing high calorie, high fat foods. It has worked out real well and usually what I ask them to bring costs a lot less than what they would have brought in the first place. When we all went to the camp grounds last time we have one main site everyone hangs at ( mom and dads ) and then everyone has their own site. The rule, keep your junk food at your own site. Worked out real real well. Sometimes when we do a bit more eating than we should we just have to get back on track. Don't beat yourself up. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Sorry about the problems your daughter had. Of course the ring is a promissory gift. I think there are only two states that say the ring belongs to the woman and I think there are a couple that say if she breaks off the engagement she has to give it back. In most states the man can ask for the ring back even when a divorce happens. The dress, if she loved this dress why not keep it until she gets married. Just try to hang in there. Most of us are stress or boredom eaters. You know it, I know it. We just have to get our selfs back on track when things happen that throw us off plan.

The only person I cheat is myself. I know I am not going to meet my goal by the end of the year. BUT I am closer to that goal right now than I was when I started. That is how I have to look at it.
Things are going OK around here. I am packing on the pounds thanks to the meads but since there is nothing to do about it I just make sure I am eating my four basic food group plan and try to stay active with this knee. Things will turn around. The worst thing I can do is let it get me down and start eating because I am bored or upset because of it all. We have another Pow Wow coming up in the middle of September so I am looking forward to that. We also have one more " family " going to the zoo day coming up before the year is out and we are going to a safari down in southern Ohio in October. Still a few more things to look forward to before cold weather hits. Back to school shopping was done ages ago and Christmas is already bought for so the rest of my year is free sailing.



I am one of those people that still keeps a Christmas account. I put a little money in it each week and when I have saved up enough to get what they wanted I go shopping. They are pretty easy and understand we are not rich, thank heavens.
. It's just as well school goes back because that will be my motivation to stop the snacking and get back on the programme. I will be able to start walking again in the morning. My daughter has been walking at night with me, she goes like the energizer bunny. We will keep doing our night time walks but I can get the extra one in the am. I'm feeling really bloated today, my period is due any day.

It was good to see them go off this morning. I've been really tired this week it takes a little while to get back into the groove of getting up earlier.
This week has been full of ups and downs, I haven't exercised much, and yesterday I made poor food choices (I am a fast food junkie if I wouldn't weight a ton I'd eat there every day). Today is my WI day though and I was down .6
and clean our room, my sister is dog sitting while we're gone and she has allergies so I'm going to do the bi-annual sweeping under the bed (we store our luggage there so it's a hassle), usually I find fur balls the size of the dogs (which are 70lb dogs). I should get some activity pts for laundry since the bedroom is on the second floor and the laundry in the basement.
That's what December is for.
