Well, I don't want to post anything that can be seen as a spoiler, so I'll try to keep this somewhat vague. My favorite characters have been Wrath and Rhage because they are very much alpha male characters...which I find to be extremely hot! Maybe it's because I am a very strong willed woman myself and a I need a man who can match me. Phury just came across as very weak to me. And, I think the author dedicated too much time to his "problem" and not enough time with his evolution.....know what I mean?

BTW, I am so exasperated with my oldest DD, her friend and her friend's Mom. My daughter decided to sign up for a Myspace account even though I have forbidden her to do so. I caught her when I read through her e-mails. Then, she proceeds to make up this whole story of how another friend knows her e-mail address and signed up with her information. Please!!! Does she really think I'm that stupid! Then, my SIL is talking with my daughter's friend in Florida...who she just spent the weekend with.....and the Mom says, "She didn't sign up for Myspace. Someone used her information. And, yes I know my daughter has a page because I helped her create it. And, yes I know it says she is 14 because you can't have a page unless you are at least 14." This mother is absolutely clueless!! Doesn't she know that the #1 way that predators are getting to our kids is through the internet. From her daughter's Myspace page, I know what she looks like, what her house looks like, what her first name is, and what school she goes to. Guess what? If I were a predator, I would have absolutey no problem finding this girl! Then,I find out that the brother, a recovering junkie, made comments about how much older and thinner my daughter is looking. What?! Keep your @#$% eyes off my child! Arrgggghhhh! Needless to say, my daughter is not allowed to go to this girl's house ever again.

Sorry for the rant. Parenting children and keeping them safe seems so overwhelming sometime. Think I can just lock them in the house until they are 21?

One of the things that I forgot I love on Calorie-count is the fiber tracker. I forgot what a sense of accomplishment it is to get in 25 g of fiber a day!!

Hi everyone. I'm having kind of a blah day today...it's just hot and humid and that is zapping all of my strenght. I am about to go fill up my water bottle again and try to concentrate on some work. Eating has been totally on plan so far, but I'm not sure what kind of a workout I'll get in today. I need to figure out something, summer is just starting and I can't use 'it's too hot' all summer!

Got a chance to read all the posts.

Nori--LOL about the hummus bc my co-worker has been bingeing on hummus too. Like Anna & Josephine I have to be really careful. I will eat an entire tub in one sitting especially if I have some TJ's savory mini crisps. I love hummus so much I can eat it with a spoon!

Dora--No need to thank me. I love, love, and love my job! Also great job on the jogging.

Kim--I hear people raving about the Garmins so that is fantastic.

Rhonda & Zinke--I did Day 1 yesterday of the program that Rhonda posted. So I think my days will be Sun, Tues, and Thursdays. It felt so good to put on my running shoes (I'm in love with them !) and strap on the heart rate monitor.

I think I may be getting back into the groove with the exercise. I hope so because I know that is the key. I exercised 3x times last week and so far two days this week. I'm trying to be on it! I want to exercise twice in one day. I think that will be more realistic once class and all of this summer training ends. So maybe that can be a goal for July.

Will someone please shoot me and put me out of my misery?

I'm taking a free week, the only thing I lost last week was my motivation. This sinus crud is still hanging on, and to top it off we've been without A/C since Thursday. In FL, in June. Needless to say I've been spending my time trying to track down our landlord (who lives on the other end of the state), her brother who actually lives in the same area, and the a/c repair people. We're currently "on the list". GRRRRR!

The one nice thing about all this heat we are all experiencing is that it is an appetite depressant -- at least it is for me. How about for everyone else?

Ugh, how frustrating! There is a reason why children under 14 years of age are forbidden to use Myspace. I hope something gets through to that mother before anything happens to her child.

I certainly not cooking as much with no a/c to offset the heat, but I'm eating all sorts of horrible food that I know are full of junk, but I'm hot, pmsing, whiney, and did I mention that I'm tired of listening to my DH whine? I should have treated this as an opportunity to sweat out all the toxins in my body or done a fast, but instead I'm eating gross food with no nutritional value.

OK, apparently I'm the only one with a suppressed appetite. So there is NOTHING good about this giant heat wave we're experiencing!
