Could it be that all this exercise and getting into shape really does help us sleep better? I had my 6 hours of sleep and after waking up at 5:30 and tossing and turning for an hour, I decided to get up. Last night I went to the exercise room here at the hotel and there was someone on the treadmill. So I got on the elliptical. I've used those before but it's been a couple of years. I'm not very coordinated, so I'm always afraid of falling off and embarassing myself (yes, I would probably hurt myself too, but being embarassed is somehow worse). But I did it for 25 minutes and it kicked my butt! And according to the thing that tells you how many calories you burned, it was almost as much as I burn when doing a whole hour on my treadmill.
Heather: Welcome to this thread! Hope you enjoy it here, we all are pretty good at supporting and motivating each other. Last week a couple of us came up with a challenge to do some cardio every day for 7 days. It was fun and kept us going (well, it kept us out of trouble, anyway

). Maybe we could start another challenge soon. All ideas are welcome! Good luck with your goals and please check back often! We're here for you.
Chantelle: Woo-hoo! Good for you! Isn't that a great feeling? I know we all lose the most for the first week or two, but maybe that's Nature's way of getting us motivated to keep going. Keep it up! (And good luck with your studies.)
I guess somebody moved our thread. I'll have to remember where to look, but I'm getting more familiar with the layout of this message board.
Okay, ladies, have a good Wednesday! Mini-challenge to all of you today: Drink lots of water. Talk to you later!
