I think adding the bacon to my breakfast added calories. I was not taking something out but just adding. Do you know what I mean? I feel the same about all the butter I have been adding to my veggies. Extra fat may help others but I don't think it's helping me. I will still buy my full fat yogurt and will not buy things labeled low fat but plan on going back to my previous way of eating that worked for me in the past. It was not high fat but also not low fat. I have also not had potty issues for awhile now.
I had another hypo last night. In the 50s. I think got mixed up and took the G twice. I now know my symptoms as I had a hypo earlie in the week. I get hot, my heart races and I have nausea. That is similar to a heart attack but without chest pain. Both times I tested in the 50s and both times I ate a caramel and felt better. Last night I needed 2 caramels. I am trying too hard to lower blood sugar. I have changed my eating and don't need as much G. I need to be more diligent. DH does not know what to do if something happens. I told him to just call the ambulance. I might make him learn how to test.
This am blood sugar is 100 and weight is still 187.
