I've shared a couple of the struggles I've been having lately with my old one, and more and more have realized that I needed to do what was best for me and move on. I've signed on with my friend's coach and she is amazing! Her background and experience is in health, fitness and nutrition (not sales and marketing, go figure...) After 5 minutes I already felt as if the "weight" was lifting off of my shoulders. We'll be doing some tweaks in the next few weeks as she learns my body, routine, and see what works best. (like I have to eat a restricted every day this week, I've never done that before!)
One change you'll see here is that I've done away with my ticker (for now). She doesn't want me to focus on a goal weight #, but rather to get in a healthy range first and see where we need to go. Oh and my homework is to start planning how to celebrate when I hit 199, cuz it's right around the corner!
My biggest take-away, and it goes with some of the convo that's been happening on the daily thread - all coaches are not created equal. And it's your life, so make things happen for the most success in your program.

I love this, so happy that you have made a change that is going to make a big difference in how you experience IP.

I was getting hungry a lot during the day before my old coach added the 2 oz of protein, for a total of 10/day. I usually had something (like 2 HB eggs or a couple of oz of deli turkey or ham) mid-afternoon and it was definitely helping. I asked my new coach about it, and she said it will be part of the tweaks we'll be working on, but for now, if I feel like I need it to have it.
Even schedule-wise it's better for getting everyone up and moving in the morning, plus my new clinic is on my way to work so no more special trips.
