There were times when I thought I was a "3FC widow"!!

ANGIE ~ I can certainly understand how you might think that too. We certainly enjoyed having GARY here. He blessed many people over the years with his wonderful sense humor, quick wit & writing skills, support & encouragement, plus love and prayers. He will be greatly missed for sure.
^Prayers^ will continue for you all, esp during that Relay for Cancer. What day is that held in the US? We have them up here in Canada too and even in our little town. I wonder if it is held on the same day. Several of our family members have had cancer -- both parents & Aunts & Uncles: some are survivors, some were blessed with extended lives, and some have gone home. Our lives have been touched by this disease a lot (starting with our mother when I was 17 y/o), including myself and our friend, BARGOO here plus many others (and GARY & his family too). It seems almost every week that I receive an email about someone else we know that is battling the big "C" and needs prayers ...
So, my DH & I have supported the Cancer Society and the run in the past; and plan to again. Who knows -- maybe some day I could even participate a little as my walking gets better. I look forward to it. In the meanwhile, we'll do what we can ...
BTW, EVERYONE ~ we will be going to the city tomorrow for my chemo exam/tests; if all is well, we will go back the next day (Tuesday, April 16, 2013) for my #3 round of CHEMO. I would really appreciate prayers for travel mercies and that my blood platelets are OK; and of course for the Chemo Day itself. Thanks so much ...
