Today is big baking day for sales over the weekend but I handle that by wearing surgical gloves and sipping water while I cook. One taste would put me right over the edge so....
Wishing all the Canadians a great Thanksgiving Weekend!

Survived the cookie baking yesterday without a single taste!

I know it will go down over the course of the day, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
the stuffing and the gravy.

Need to be really careful this week as I have another TD dinner on Wednesday with the Clinic clients and will be away for three days later in the week at Synod - big Ontario Anglican Church thingie with way too much food!
Not exactly a perfectly OP kind of meal, but not too bad -- my BGL is (as usual) too high, but my weight is still holding. Have another meal to get through today and then, thankfully, this holiday will be over for another year.
but it sure is loud and annoying..meowee and ruth sounds like u both had a nice thanksgiving and still managed to keep sl fairly normal wtg
..it snowed like crazy 3 days ago had about 6 inch on the ground then it warmed up and rained buckets and the snow went..today i woke up to cold and more snow really strange weather altho i prefer the rain to snow..im finding it harder to cook for one and find myself snacking more cuz its easier than hauling out the pots and pans..my sl are still in the 80's..ttfn (((hugs))) rosey

Needless to say the BGL is still having awful morning numbers.
. . . See you all later.

We're still having nice Indian summer weather here. I like it because it doesn't get too hot.
Woke up yesterday with a nasty pinched-nerve kind of back ache and spent most of the day flat out in bed. It's still with me, but a little less so this morning so I thought I'd try sitting and typing for a little while anyway.
Have a doctor's appointment for the 27th and will then see what horrible A1C number I come up with. Will probably drop the glyburide over the next few months but will keep on with the Metformin.
. . . well, other than the cats; they never sit still for too long (when they are awake).
