tiki - how sweet

I am happy and grateful that I have an outlet for my creativity and it is what is keeping up this month (SAD sucks!).

I am happy that I got the schedule that I asked for and it starts next week. Four ten hour shifts, a day off in the middle of the week JUST FOR ME! I haven't had a day off to myself in over a year. I am so happy. I can't wait.

I am happy and grateful for having had a good sleep last night. Sounds trivial, but I've been eating like a crazy person because I'm tired, and I think I'm catching up on my sleep!

I'm happy I didn't lose my toe nail on my right foot, second toe. I hit it MONTHS ago trying to hurry up into the shower and it has been loose ever since, discolored and thick. Today I realized that I just damaged that part of the nail but that new, normal looking nail is growing so I will be okay for sandal season.

Tiki.

I'm happy because last night my neice stayed with me and my bf Andy...she used to live with us (along with her mother...Andy's sister)...but there was a huge deal where his sister attacked him back in february and they moved out and we've only seen her twice since then...we didn't know how much we missed her til she stayed here...

I'm happy that I get to go home this weekend and stay in my new apt...Andy won't be able to come, so that'll be hard (we used to have a LD relationship but since we moved in a year ago, this'll be the longest we're apart) and I'm also glad that nothing major was wrong this morning when the fire alarm went off in our building this morning at 4:30 AM...not sure what apt it happened in or what happened, but it's still here so that's good LOL

Talking I like this thread - needs more recent activity though

Since I havent posted here before I will list all that I am happy and grateful for as of now;

My Husband - nobody's perfect, but nobody tries harder to be perfect that he does and without him - well, let's just say I tried it and didn't like it.

My Parents - we have always been close and have a very strong relationship - in fact I consider them the couple we most prefer to hang out with.

My Family - I don't think I deserve them - they (all of them - see bio) are always so happy to see me, escapes as to why - but they all manage to make me feel so special.

My Job - By far the best job ever - and not just because I was able to move 250 miles and keep it by working from home - my boss and I have a very good working relationship - we click - and he has had lots and lots of assistants - but swears I am the best ever - I love that.

My home - after growing up in the city - we moved to a 20 acre farm - and I have to say that every day I look around at the lack of neigbors and forest behind us and the pastures next to us and our own creek and I really can't believe I live here - it is feeling of pure contentment.

My dogs - the 3 little yappers that live in the house - unconditional love, and they are so entertaining to watch play. They know when I am down and cuddle up to me and make me feel better.

This Website - I have never been big on support groups since most cases your supporter all ready lost all there weight and so even though they have been there - it just doesnt feel the same - but this group - most of you are still struggling with the process and so many of you have so much in common with me that I truely feel like hey - if they can do pilates every day - surely I can walk to the paper and back (my paper box is a mile and half round trip from my door) country living - gotta love it.

I'm grateful for having had a great weekend! I had the best date I've had in....I think....my whole life thus far. (BIG HUGE GRINS!!!!) And I'm grateful that I splurged on yummy food all weekend & enjoyed it but that I totally feel like getting back on target today. I'm looking forward to having a week of eating right & not sitting here having fantasies about Krispy Kremes. I wrote up my menu for the week & can honestly say I'm looking forward to low carb this week. Yay.

Happy and grateful for my husband who is willing to put up a chandelier for his mother in law (even though he was cursing the whole time he was doing it and for having spent a great day with him just puttering around the garden on Saturday afternoon

I am grateful to be alive. I had weight loss surgery, and there are risks involved. It's good to be here.
