Dream710 Fort Randall is fun it is only and hour and a half away from me here at home. Been there a few times and had a blast I usually donated but that was okay because it was the intertainment of getting out for a night.
CeeGee I have really been researching the reduction thing as well but I am so nervous about the whole thing I have never had any kind of surgery and only stayed in a hospital when I had the boys. Do you recommend the surgery? I have always been in the D's since I can remember in high school now a DDD so I would think I would love to be a full C. I think I am going to call for a consultation soon.
On the lighter side it is getting nice out we have been above freezing all week now all I have is a muddy driveway which drives me crazy because every pair of shoes that come into the house have nothing but mud on the soles.

Hay girls..... I am working and well there is not much going on now. I have hit a plateau and cant seem to get past this point. I hate it!!! I am also not staying with in my cal range....but I have got back on track and working out everyday. I need a kick in the ***...any ideas?????? I need some help getting over well under...lol this!

Roni, I think you should ignore the scale for the most part. I don't even OWN one! They are crazy making machines. I hate scales! They don't tell me what I really need to know anyway...I only use one because of the challenge. I am going to start up an non-scale challenge when this TBL challenge is over for those of us who wast to make lifestyle changes and be consistent without being married to a scale.

I also have loved being in these last 2 challenges (thanks, Mel, London and Chellez!) but I think that inches, days on plan, exercise, making healthier choices CONSISTENCY is what some of us need now, more than scale tales. What forum should it be in? Maybe "Chicks up for a Challenge"?

Hi, my name is Julie and I am a slave to the scale.

Seriously though - especially this past week, I've just gotten so mad at the stupid scale. I've been hovering between 192 and 195 since November!!! (this after losing 30 pounds between Aug and October). The scale doesn't account for muscle gain and body fat % lost though. My body fat % has gone down, which means I'm gaining muscle.... but I just can't help but get discouraged to not see the numbers on the scale going down. I do agree that this is a major downfall in dieting. There have been many occasions where I've just felt like "screw it all.... I can't lose anymore "pounds", I'm gonna eat whatever I want". When really, I am losing fat but gaining muscle. That's why I'm trying my best to not hop on the scale as much and just trust my body fat % reading at the gym every week.

Soul- I think that challenge is a great idea!

Reda and GGmugsy - I totally LOVE my boobies! lol! I was probably a DDD, but I will never know bc I crammed myself into a DD. I was so tired of lugging those things around...so I researched it, met all the requirements for insurance to pay for it, and did it b4 I got married. It was not bad at all. I would totally recommend it. The worst part for me was getting sick from the anesthesia (which I always do) but they gave me meds for that, and not being able to sleep on my tummy for a couple of weeks - THAT was the hardest, as I am a tummy sleeper. They don't look pretty right off the bat, I'll warn you, and they are very hard. It took a couple of months for them to look normal. Man, did I look HOT in my bikini on our honeymoon, lol! The doctor took off 3 pounds, and took me to a full C. Nice! Right now I am a D after having the kiddies, and I am still waaaaaaaay smaller than I was.

You couldn't pry that scale out of my cold dead hands! I love getting on that scale everyday. Even with the small daily fluctuations, it reminds me of how far I have come, and how close I am to the finish line. When I think of how sad I was at Thanksgiving bc I hated my body, it just amazes me at how I feel today. Now sometimes the scale pisses me off, and sometimes I wanna kiss it, but it isn't like it ever fluctuates so much that it isn't at least a little bit true.

Here's a suggestion (and let me know if it is not legal for the BL competition): why not weigh yourself everyday, record it, and then take the average weight for your weigh in? So if for half the week I was 144ish, and the rest 142ish, the average would be 143ish. Would that make you feel better?

Alright, it's settled then! I will start the challenge and announce it during the last week of this one here. I think a lot of people will be interested!

Man, it is hard to not have my food with me! Low carb and vegan IS difficult, I'm not gonna lie!!! There are so few options here at school for me...Basically broccoli and salad bar (not much there either). Thank Goddess I have some pecan halves in my bag! 22 pecans does not a breakfast make though.

I can't wait to get better and for DD's show to be done, so we don't have to all run around so much. Then there will be time for things like grocery shopping, cooking and so on.

CeeGee yeah I am totally interested in any information you may have. I have searched online but it is still scary..... I am also considering the tummy tuck along with the reduction because I figure if I am going to be in pay I might as well do it all at once. I am pretty sure that my insurance will pay for the reduction. Did you have to see several doctors or just a specialist?
I do also get on the scale everyday and wish I didn't but the whole slave thing is about the truth or maybe I should say obsessed....I need to try to get back into my excersice routine and soon that is when I really start losing the weight but I just have not had the ambition to do it lately, I think maybe tomorrow when everyone is gone I will get back on the treadmil.
