    Here in the mid west it is allergy season...and man, am I feeling it. Have not had a good night's sleep in weeks due to either hubby or myself snorting and snotting. Hoping it doesn't turn into a sinus infection like it usually does. Sitting here eating my banana and oatmeal and reading everyone's posts. Sounds like the whoosh fairy needs a good kick in the pants...she's not doing her job. Hope she's not in contract negotiations or something. Hang in there everybody!!!

  • I'm shocked (but happy) that my weight stayed the same. Now, I'm ready for it to move down.

  • Hey guys, I'm back! It has been a crazy semester but I need to make myself get back on track so I'm gonna make an effort to try to come on here daily.

    I am setting myself a tentative goal of 5lbs but may alter that. Yesterday was my first day back on track so hopefully I'll see some water weight dropping off these first few days. Once that has happened I will re-evaluate.

  • Okay, I've managed to stay away from Ice Cream and all other possible sources of candy. I also managed not to overeat. I went to Cardio Boxing last night and went to bed when I got home. I didn't eat after class because:

    A. It was after 10pm by the time I got home and showered.
    B. I would use working out as justification for eating a lot.

    Goal Weight: 154 lbs
    Target Weight Loss: 7 lbs

    Today's Goals:

    1. Drink at least 64 oz of water.
    2. Don't overeat at meal times.
    3. Eat before dance class tonight, not after.

    Minneey: They definitely are tough pounds to shift. I keep losing and regaining the same pounds, although there’s neither rhyme nor reason to the trends, since I eat about the same number of calories every day. I shall just keep plodding on and hope something breaks soon!

    Here's how I plan to do it.
    Exercise: 500 minutes of exercise each week. Goal 2000 minutes end of month. Mix of Running, Walking, Piloxing for my cardio once a week and strength training 3 times a week Start small with 1 set of 12 exercises. Build up to 3 sets. Try and get some yoga in each day. Bought a dvd with Am pm with short and long versions. Would like to start towards the end of the month in a Tai Yoga class.
    Eating: write it all down. Try to keep calories at goal of 1680. Allow for 1 slip a week.
    Water: 100 oz.

    Funny I guess that spells EEW which is kinda how I feel about my failed October.
    Fees good to see positive results. 200.6 this am. That's 4lbs in less than a week. Woot.
