  • How are u all keeping your weight down? im so scared of ballooning!! only just found out im pregnant so 4.5 weeks so very early days but already noticed 2lbs on! and ive not changed my diet..think its my boobs..they are soooo heavy!!!i mean i can not lie on them at all!!
  • I think my boobs weigh about 10 pounds each as well haha
  • ... and they are soooo sensitive!

touchmytoes: I've been pretty sick, whick keeps the weight down at the beginning, and I still had another 20 lbs to lose before I became pregnant, so if you are already overweight I think that it is easier to gain less. At the start of this pregnancy I gained 3 lbs, but then lost it due to "morning sickness" which actually lasts all day.
  • 213 week 28.
  • PPW: 165
    8 weeks: 168

touchmytoes~ I bloated up first thing as was over 170 for awhile. I knew it was partially bloating and not fat. My weight has gone down since then and I'm less bloated.
  • Zenor77, same happened to me. The week before finding out I was pregnant, I had gained 4 lbs out of no where. Nothing in my diet had changed. Then after my midwife switched me from calcium to magnesium, the extra weight dropped.
  • Before baby: 122lbs
    18 weeks: 132lbs
    20 weeks: 134lbs
    25 weeks: 143lbs
    27 weeks: 145lbs

    + 10lbs (18 weeks)
    + 12lbs (20 weeks)
    + 21lbs (25 weeks)
    + 23lbs (27 weeks)

I am officially nearing my "before" weight (I have maintained for 6+ years)
  • PPW: 141.5
    12 wks: 150.4
    20 wks: 159.4
    30 wks: -
    40 wks: -
    total: 17.9

Yay! Much better then I expected. I'm hoping to gain this much by the end of the pregnancy or less, so total should be 35 lbs or less by the end of the pregnancy. I'll weigh in at 30 weeks and see where we stand.
  • PPW: 254
    14 weeks: 253

I gained 1 lb at this month's checkup, but I'm still a pound down from PPW. Dr and I are both pretty happy. At this point with my last one I'd gained 15 lbs.
