  • Hi, I am Jessica, 23 and new here! I am a SAHM to Colby, who just turned 4 last week. It is hard for me to do anything while he is awake, so I have started working out after he goes to bed. It will be nice to meet other mommies!
  • Hi guys! My name is amber alicia; I am 28 yrs old. I have two children, my son who is 11, and my daughter is 4. We live in Hayward, CA - which is east of SF in Cali. We just moved out here about a year ago.

I came to this forum in hopes that I'd find other women my age whom are trying to lose weight too. Good to see there's a few mommies like me as well!

Anyway - hope to get to know you all well. ttys0on!

  • Hi ladies! I am a 28 year old mommy to Dylan (15 months). I work full time as an industrial buyer, and my husband is an accountant knee deep in tax season right now. He comes home around 10/11 pm...so I'm flying solo when I'm not working. I've found that the Wii Active and Wii Gold's Gym Cardio Boxing have been godsends! I didn't know this forum existed - I can't wait to get to know you all!
  • Hi ladies!

I had no idea this thread existed, but I am really excited about it! I am a 23 y/o mom to a little boy named Keegan Gabriel who is 15 months old, and he is a little monster!

I have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in merchandising and am looking for a buying position in the city but no luck yet. The (future) hubby is a police officer and we are currently living with my mom while we build our first home. It should be done by the summer and I hope to have a job by then so we can start saving for our wedding!

I agree that it is really hard to work out with an active toddler at home, the only time I have to myself is after he goes to bed and by that time I'm usually so exhausted the last thing I want to do is workout. But, the hubby bought me a wii and I bought myself the EA Sports Active and have been doing the 30 day challenge and it's worked well for me so far.

I had no idea there was so many other 20-something mommies, I can't wait to get to know you all better!
  • Hey fashin! I just finished my first 30 day challenge, and I'm starting up the next one today. Those squats are absolutely ridiculous, so I'm interested/scared to see what the next level of intensity is like. My little man is all over me when I'm working out, so I try to fit it in when he's eating his snack and watching a video...but 15 month olds aren't big fans of sitting still, as I am sure you know!! How funny - I am a buyer as well.
  • Hi Irish! Wow good luck with the next level those squats and lunges kick my butt I'd be scared too! I'm only on Day 9 but it's a great workout when you don't have much time.

So your little boy is 15 months too and he sits still
and watches videos? That is my idea of heaven. Seriously though mine does not sit still at all even for meals it's gotten to the point where we just sit his food on the table and he comes by and eats as he feels like it. Sounds horrible but he would literally rather jump out of his highchair than sit still for an entire meal... Maybe I need some tips! Lol

And you are a buyer too? How weird! Do you mind me asking what kind of company you work for? I have applied for everything from funiture to medical supplies but with the economy no one is hiring right now. I'm just gonna keep bothering people til someone gives me a job tho!
  • i'm lissa i'm 29 and holding i have 2 kids sarah 4 1/2 yrs and jamies 2 3/4 yrs, i'm a sahm and struggling to the weight off.
  • Hi! I just turned 21 and I have a 4 year old boy!!
  • I'm Kim and I'm a 29 year old Mom of a 17 month old little girl. I either work out during her nap or after she goes to bed at night. She is a very good sleeper and is on a solid schedule, so I'm lucky in that respect. Currently, I'm working on C25K (Week 3) and I'm on 30DS Level 3. I do three days of C25K and then I mix in the 30DS where I can.
Hi Irishmomma! My husband is an accountant as well. He works in the tax department for a corporation.
I've actually been hovering between 198 and 200 for about 2 weeks now and I'm ready for some more lbs to go now! I'm glad I discovered this thread. I could use some support to get me over the hump!
