basically i will not run outside because of embarassment and comfort, and i also really want to be able to run, cant afford gym membership as a) i get so self conscious in gyms, b) i need to be able to work out at stupid times due to work commitments and c) i like to be alone when i work out.

That looks nice. You already have an elliptical? Why do you want both? I'm just curious. I wouldn't mind having one or the other.... but I can't afford either.

i really struggle on the elliptical... sigh, i should probably just use that more but i find it really makes me feel cumbersome and stupid... like im leaning too far forwards? i mean how should you look whilst using one?

HWGA: congrats on being down! Today must be a great day for losing haha. Do you know when BL reruns because I've missed it the last few weeks.. and I really don't wanna wait until next season when they rerun it marathon style.

All the fish talk: is making me crave fish! I absolutely love it and my uncle's fish all the time. They do the big fishing trips not just catfish and trout like whats around here, they give a bunch of it to my mom and she hates it. As soon as I live closer I"m totally snagging it up! Snag, ha... fish humor.

ghost: I hate those kinda days. If it weren't for moving/graduating/newjob I'd probably still be stuck in the rut I was a month ago where I hated my life and everyone around me. I'm just good at hiding it. THats why I have ulcers.

bee: I wouldn't help the dude. I would just nicely be like hey sorry I still have a huge final tomorrow that I haven't studied for. Maybe he can call someone else from your group? Or speak with your teacher or a grad assistant? He has more options than you so don't feel like you have to help him, even if his teacher sucks.

EDIT: Paula.. I'd say maybe sell the ellipitical and buy a treadmill since you aren't a big fan of it.. maybe that'll make buying it easier to swallow.

I.. had a decent day. Had my hardest final and I think I rocked it. I have one left and its open book open note. Tough haha! I finally went and bought that weather treatment stuff and covered all the windows. We rent a raggedy old shack of a 2 bedroom house. It was pretty drafty until now. I don't know what it is about college towns but they're like a magnet for slum lords.

I also picked up my CAP AND GOWN. Wow that was exciting. I paid my final school payment and dropped off most of my books. Its finally sinking in, my arse is outa here!

For lunch, I was feeling food guilt so I just had a veggie steamer thing from the freezer section. Edemame, greenbeans and mushrooms, 60 cals a serving, 4 servings in the bag. Usually i love mushrooms but the ones in that bag were NASTY! ruined the whole thing for me and I didn't finish eating it so now I"M STARVING...and the bagels are calling my name.

I love the elliptical, really, it took some getting used to but for the time and effort you can't beat the burn.

Paula- I would sell the elipitcal and buy something you'll really use.

I did a lot of shopping today. I have decided I shall take two suitcases on my trip. One for my stuff and one for presents. The one for presents hopefully will be filled on the return trip as well! This is my first Christmas season shopping in CA but it seems way less crowded than I expected. The economy? I didn't mind it though! I only have a few people left and I'm done. Go me!

Now I need to find a super cute outfit to go out in.... It's so hard. I don't even know where to go. Land Bryant's clothes are looking too big on me.... where should I go?

where are your snacks?

I don't have snacks at the office. Well, I have miso soup packets, but I already had one this am and they have too much sodium to double up on in one day. I need to go shopping for work. Sometimes I do that on my way back to work after lunch, stop by the bodega and get healthy stuff, but I didn't have time today...

i think im gonna persevere with the elliptical for a while.. ive looked up a few workouts for it...

*sniff* that was beautiful :') thank you. I guess it was a bit of a surprise, had never actually LOOKED at myself properly, i guess because when ur overweight and unhappy about it you try not to look at yourself.
