  • Quote: If you want a pure mineral foundation and want a better price than BE, I can suggest SunCat Natural. (You can find it with Google.) It is a small, in home mineral makeup brand. She makes some of the best mineral foundation I have ever used. She offers several formulas, and a very wide shade range for the palest to the deepest. All of her makeup is hand made, pure and natural. And her prices are terrific.
    Thanks, that looks neat.
  • Thanks, Rain. I'll definitely look into that. I had just read an article yesterday about a lot of mineral make-ups not being pure, so that's something I do want to watch out for.
  • Quote: I went to a Sephora store and I was impressed because they had a very helpful staff that put stuff on my face, the results of which succeeded in luring me into buying it. (Bare Minerals in this case.)
Although I must admit, in my case it is like trying to put an attractive garnish on something that has already gone bad, so it's kind of futile. But the Sephora stores carry a wide range of brands so you can get all swimmy-eyed looking at everything.
SEPHORA! I need to make a run their soon; I like the Kat Von D eye liners.
  • I just ordered a sample size from SunCat Naturals. I'll report back once I get it. They are SO affordable!
  • Quote: For my eyes, I hardly wear eyeshadow since it all melts off my eyes.
Do you wear some sort of primer or base under your eyeshadow? If not, I want to recommend two eyeshadow primers I love... hope you dont mind.

Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion is great. It helps shadow adhere to your lids, without creasing or melting away. I also love MAC's paints as base. I use one called "Bare Canvas" (or is it Bared Naked?)... either way, a small bit on both lids makes sure my shadow stays put. It looks good under all of my MAC and other shadows, while UDEPP can sometimes look weird depending on the color. Let us know if a shadow base changes your mind about eyeshadow!
  • Got my SunCat Naturals mineral make-up. I asked for the semi-matte formula because i'm not a fan of too much shine. It's still too shiny for me compared to Bare Minerals.
  • LOVE bare minerals! And Christian Dior mascara.
