My husband works 7-3:30 and I work anywhere from 8-5 to 1-10. So some weeks I'm ready to kill him cause I see too much of him. But I'd really miss him if our schedules were too different. Everyother weekend I work 1-10 and then 6-3. It's my break. But on the other hand I don't see my little guy from 12pm to 3pm the next day. Needless to say there's usually some yelling going on by my son when I get home.Originally Posted by tkglenn

When he did come home, he got out of the military and started working for Coach USA the bus company and was gone for days, sometimes weeks at a time. He quit there then started working for a company that was contracted with the city to dig holes and find sewage direction and would go out of town monday through friday and be home only on the weekends, this went on for 7 months. Then quit and couldn't find a job for 3 months. Now he works as a supervisor for a begium based company here and every other week he works night and saturday nights (on the week he works nights) and doesn't come home till midnight (i'm already asleep). He sleeps in till about 12 and gets ready for work and leaves. Be happy your hubby comes home. I wish mine did.
I'm trying to get to yell less in the house (usually at my son). He's only 2 and basically ignores us anyway. Plus it almost seems like he listens more when you talk really quiet to him. My husband is having a hard time cause he's a little more stressed by everything my son does than me.

You get the green pompoms of the week!
. I'll go ahead and ask what everyone is thinking, what is it that you're dealing with? Maybe someone here has been thru it and can help......
he comes in at 9pm and leaves again at 5 30 am .. so really just 5 days
! I will weigh in tomorrow morning.
