Worked on taxes today. Cleaned living room carpet. Took a nap (what else is new?). Graded papers. Listened to cd's to choose a song to go along with my Talk that I'll be giving the end of April at the Emmaus Walk.

I should have gone to Wal Mart today, but I didn't want to get all bundled up and go out in the cold! Wimp!!! I'll go after church tomorrow.

What does everyone have planned for today? I'm taking my best friend's son to the Biblical Arts Museum. I'm his faith partner for confirmation on April 3. I think I told you about it. I was concerned since we are no the same religion but my friend said that was no problem. I'll let you know aobut the museum, I've never been to it.

Tammy, I would never go outside if it snowed all of the time. I love the snow but I'm tired of the cold in just a short time.

Tina, we did (or should I say Pat) our taxes back at the first of Feb. on Turbo Tax. We got our refund back within 10 days. It makes doing your taxes so much easier.

We went to Outback last night for dinner. I ordered the small filet, grilled veggies and the blue cheese salad. It was so good. I only had 2 pieces of bread too. I was very proud of myself.

I think I'm going to start CORE on Mon. Tina, didn't you try it once and liked it?

The sun is shining today but it is still COLD!!!! I want to move someplace warm. Today.

I did our federal taxes on line, and that was easy. We have our refund back already. I tried to do the state on line, and it was so confusing that I cried. Sat down yesterday to do it by hand.

I haven't been to Outback in years. Sounds good to me!! I went to Arby's for lunch after church. Tim had to work at 11:30, so it was easier just to eat there.

Nothing planned for today. Reading and working on perfecting my talk.
More testing at school this week. I will be so glad when it is over. We used to give our test in April, which was good for the kids because we could cover more before we had to give the test. Well, our principal decided he wanted all of the tests given over a 2-week period in March. So, we mess up 2 weeks just for the silly test. He's such a Bozo.

Maybe I shouldn't tell you this----it's 84 degrees right now and it's wonderful. However, there's a front coming in and the high tomorrow will just be 66.

Susan, what is a faith partner? I've never heard of that. So you went to Outback! I want to go there so bad. I'm being so good for 3 more weeks. Then, I'll take my cholesterol blood test. I told Larry that I want to go to Outback the next day and have steak, baked potato and a chocolate dessert.

Is anyone buying an Easter outfit?
I'm going to wait another week (to see if I lose a couple more inches) and then go buy something. All my clothes are so old.

morning all,

it's gonna be a long week. i'm on overtime all week which basically means i leave the house at 4 a.m and get back at 4 p.m and to top it off my daughter has practice from 5 to 7 every night. plus i have to run her for a physical today (half vacation day) and watch my neice tommorrow night and go for a physical at my doctors on wednesday. i'm tired just thinking about it.

i'd skip my appointment but i did a 5 hour glucose test a couple weeks ago and i think i might be diabetic but all they tell you on the phone is i'm slightly abnormal and the doctor will tell me more when i go in.

anyways, i didn't do well this weekend with my eating but i got up first thing this morning and lifted weights. planning on walking at the school when i take my daughter to practice.

Susuan, Outback sounds great!! Haven't been there in a while. I went to Chili's a few weks back and was discouraged...because even the "good food" was high points. I will have ot give OB a try!

I live in Fla and its raining and wet!! so it really doesn't matter where you are. Should be 90 again here soon.

Wow we are a chatty bunch this month!! It's great!!!! I did my first day of CORE and so far so good. I'm really not hungry like I thought I would be and I can even have my nightly popcorn. YEA!!! It's the small things in life that make me happy!
