Gayle-Sorry you had to spend Christmas alone. I'm sorry for your co-worker losing her dh in November. My stepmom's friend's dh died on Christmas Day while they were opening presents this year. How horrible is that? He had a stroke in November and was doing okay so she got to bring him home from the nursing home and he died of a heart attack while opening gifts. That is going to be one horrible way to remember Christmas.

My cold is kicking me down right now so I think I'm going to check out what's on for movies and snuggle down for the night. I'll post more later when my head feels less like exploding.

I am so sorry to hear about your stepmom's friend's husband ~ sending thoughts and prayers for her and her family.

I've had a long day of cleaning and its still not bedtime yet. Darn it! How come when you try to declutter, you end up making a bigger mess? One of those things I guess.

Even through all that, I'm not aching today. YIPPEE! I've been really good about eating and I drank 200 oz. of water today. I'm trying to drown myself. I'm just really thirsty and my body must need it because I'm not really going to the bathroom anymore than usual. I could sing that song "How Dry I Am".

Well just a short post. I have to kick back on the couch and fold all the laundry I've washed so far today. 5 loads worth. I still have more to wash. It is amazing how much laundry a family of 5 can produce.

I hope my New Year begins better than this one has ended.. Everyone here has been sick and still on the mend..I have a bad cold and just getting over a stomach flu.. Most of my family came down with that the day after Christmas.
