  • kariatari That sounds like So much fun!!! Congrats on finishing before your goal time!
I'm sure weigh in won't be as bad as you think! Good luck!

I've been having a good past few days in the gym I'm proud of myself for getting back into things they way that I should.
I've got some serious restless leg stuff going on though, I'm not too sure what's going on with me! I'm sitting on the couch working on homework and my legs are just driving me crazy!
Anyone know what to do for that feeling!?
  • Alright, so I bit the bullet and hopped on the scale tonight and I'm at 166 even. I can live with that. We'll see what happens during the naked morning weigh.

So girls in the States: What's your game plan for Thanksgiving? There's really nothing that I can say no to. Especially Grammy's sweet potato/marshmallow casserole. Pretty sure I'm just going to spend Fri/Sat/Sun running my @ss off. Literally.
  • That's pretty much my plan. There is nothing I can turn down that my mom and granny make, so I'm going to hurt myself working it off this weekend! lol
I plan to try to eat in moderation but I know I won't do too great at it!
  • darn, this exercise can really make you addicted!
I wasn't quite on my plan for a few days (did only a hike) and I was NERVOUS because I didn't work out (I didn't have the time, really!) and now that I've sweated my *** off at the gym I feel normal agin ... geez!
  • Yeah, I told myself when the holidays come around I only have 2 free days, Thanksgiving and Christmas. On those days I can splurge and eat what I want. But that also means that throughout the rest of the season everything else has to be counted and fall in line, no exceptions. So when it comes to holiday parties and such then I'll have to focus. As for Thursday, I'm gonna have me some pie!!
  • For Thanksgiving I just ate the same things I normally eat at Thanksgiving, just tried to keep the sweets and the portions to a minimum. Turned out alright, and I recorded ever the slightest bit of a weight loss. And I am happy to say that my back healed completely after 3 days and I am sooo excited about getting back to exercise. I am one of those folks that just enjoys it, I guess. I do have to wonder if my exercise and weight loss helped my back heal up any faster.
  • Surprisingly I hardly ate anything at Thanksgiving. I had a little bit of all my favorites but it was hardly a full plate. and I picked at desserts but didn't have much at all. I think I was too busy talking to family that I love and haven't seen in a while, I forgot to eat to much!
lol for once my mouth saved me!
  • Wow. November was an absolute FAIL MONTH for me. But today I started Insanity round 2 so I'm hoping to keep up this motivation (I feel awesome for just DOING IT today!) and keep losing weight. Hope you're all doing good after Turkey day!
  • Well, I started out strong, then I pooped out. My eczema is a HOT MESS right now. It gets irritated when I sweat, irritated when I shower, irritated from the dry winter air, from the heat, the change of season, etc. etc. etc. It has not broken out this bad in so long. I feel like I am in a catch 22. I seriously do not know what to do.
  • Hi! Can I join in this late? I was a part of the previous Aug/Sept/Oct challenge, but I have stopped exercising completely when college started, and I just got back onto it this Sunday. Looking forward to make this 90 days round a success!

That's super lame, but first things first is that you need to take care of yourself. Have you been to the doctors and gotten advice? Not just on your skin, but also your exercise. Don't worry about stalling, you can jump back in when your skin is better! Hang in there!

    Welcome hothealthy!
  • Hi ladies! Checking in to report on my November workouts. I did 17, but was shooting for 20. This month was my birthday, both of my sons birthdays, their joint bday party, I got the flu and then Thanksgiving! So I guess it wasn't terrible, but definately the lowest workout month for me so far.
  • *eek!!!*

I went clothes shopping today because I was in desperate need of pants. I normally wear 15 or 17 juniors. I was in the fitting room with my handful of 15/17's trying them on. Some worked some didn't. I was putting back on my jeans when I noticed they were size 15's and they were kind of baggy. I noticed a pair of jeans that were left in the fitting room by someone before me and they were 13's. I decided to try them on and they fit!! In one afternoon I went from trying on jeans that were 17's to fitting in a pair of 13's. I think the last time I got my thighs into one of those was probably 8th grade. And, just to make sure it wasn't a brand fluke (some brands can be generous) I tried on other 13's and they all fit perfectly. Maybe a little snug but I think that's more because I usually buy a little looser. I can't remember grinning like a fool so much in a fitting room before. Last time I went was in October and I was nearly in tears. YAY!!!
  • Well done LovelyLeah! I know how amazing it feels to try on sizes and find out you've shrunk! I did it recently too! I think I'll need a new pair of jeans now because the ones I got (because I was losing weight) are starting to get a bit baggy! Love losing weight but hate that I have to keep buying new clothes haha.

I'm back on my exercise routine, I've done Insanity twice this week and the reason I haven't done it 4 times has been because of stupidly long shifts at work. But now I have 2 weeks off so I'm dedicated to keeping it up. I'm making it a part of my daily routine. Wake up, weigh, do my internet browsing rounds, eat breakfast, watch a bit of TV for an hour/listen to music, work out - enjoy the rest of the day.

I hope you're all working out hard!
