  • Hi everybody!

It was gorgeous here today, too (up to 70)! I went out for an 8 mile run and did a lot of deep thinking. ok, not really. I was listening to my iPod, which contains both Elvis and the Beatles (along with an eclectic blend of lots of other stuff from punk to bluegrass). Anyway, remember that exercise where people were asked to choose between Elvis and the Beatles? Today I decided that it's just impossible. So now you know the kind of stuff I am thinking about while running.

We took the kids to the park, too. I am just about wiped out, but need to get stuff ready for the morning rush.
  • Hi everyone, we had a beautiful warm weekend with temps reaching the low 70's. I gave each of my dogs extra long walks just so we could spend some extra time outside.

Today I went and picked up my youngest grandson who will be 2 in June. He is such a cutie and he can go in the daycare at my gym with my workout partners little girl that is the same age.. I am keeping him for a week. So, if I'm not chatting much during this coming week it's because he wears me out. When he takes a nap, I do too sometimes, LOL. I will pick up the grandsons that are 4 years old and almost 3 on Friday to also have this coming weekend. Wish me luck and wish me sleep, LOL.

For all the animal lovers on here: Lacy showed me a video yesterday that she had taken of Lucy (our younger lab) playing with our kitty. It was so cute, I wish I knew how to put it on here to share.

Off to the gym tomorrow with little Patrick in tow!
  • I planned all weekend to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and didn't... Yesterday I had a bridal shower in the AM, then drove to my brother's house two hours away for my mom's birthday get together. Did pretty much nothing today but laze around the house. I did exercise both days, which was nice. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't make it to the park, but until I'm sure I can run it is probably better that I stayed on the elliptical.

WardHog - I could never decide between Elvis & The Beatles, either. I have a lot of both on my iPod, too. Today I was in an E Street mood, and I don't have nearly enough of them...

We watched "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" tonight - Joss Whedon quirky. I laughed my head off. Highly recommend it. Neil Patrick Harris is the title character, a mad scientist type trying to get into the "Evil League of Evil". Funny...
