Cathy I have been walking twice a day for about 2.5 weeks maybe a little less but I'm just feeling soo compelled to push myself. I actually have lost 18 lbs since April 8 lol I started on atkins then switched to south beach at my doctors request, but I also take weight loss meds I've been on them since the first of may the day I started sb and I lost 10lbs in one week and 11 lbs total. It is a prescription drug though and along with all my exercising and eating right I'm really starting to feel good again
I have leslies 1,2 and 3 mile dvd and I just mix and match to how I'm feeling like somedays if I feel tired or hurting I'll do the one mile twice, or the 2 mile and the one mile, and so on and so forth, its not so much the distance that matters but the time that you do it so even if its the easy mile I'm still burning approximately the same calories as I would doing a little bit faster walk. I don't know what it is lately though but I just want to do more and more I hope that this doesnt turn into some horrible obsession lol. Oh I forgot, when you have the dvd's it is so easy to just go back to the beginning and redo a segment with no time lost I love it. The WATP is the most versatile exercise program I have found with out making me feel like a fool for leaping all over the living room aerobics style lol I'm not a dancer never will be
