  • Have been remiss in logging my time here, so let's just call it a detour and move on. I threw out my used WW journals where I keep track of exercise and don't want to go back to estimate.

    Sunday, February 1 (OMG! January is OVER! Wasn't sure it would ever end!) 45 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes yoga = 65 minutes/miles

    Our WW leader at my last meeting made us write down our goals for the end of February, then collected them. She said she will give them back to us at our last meeting in February to see who has met their goals. She warned us that those little pieces of paper would haunt us, and they ARE! I wrote down that I wanted to lose 5lbs and use my treadmill a minimum of three times a week. NO reason why that can't be done!

    Wednesday, 10 miles (10 min.), shoulders/biceps in gym.

    Thursday, 60 miles (60 min.), cardio in gym (20 min. recumbent bike, 30 walk/run on treadmill); 10 min. in weight room (chest presses, planks, stretch).

    Friday, 70 miles (70 min.), 10 min. elliptical in gym; 60 minutes TB in weight room with trainer.

    Saturday, 30 miles (30 min.), run/walk on treadmill in gym.

    Sunday, 30 miles (30 min.), walk.

    Total WEEK FOUR Miles: 290

    I think I'm heading back to Atlanta the fourth time.

    Thoroughly enjoyed my evening meal at the Inn of the Three Sisters, my cafe au lait and beignets at Cafe Du Monde and my lunch of red beans and rice at the little place on Jackson Square.

    Only a week to go so I'm sticking with this since its about the only thing I've been sticking to. Have my water pretty well back up and am trying to beat food back into submission. Will be home in two weeks and my loyal queens will help keep me on the straight and narrow.

  • Yay, Ceara and Anagram!!!!! Good for thee for schlepping on through Georgia and the Bayou ... I think the Bayou may be in there somewhere ... on Sunday, I'm going to post the CCRRMM Vernal Equinox Exercise Challenge, unless someone else wants to? (Would not hurt my feelings, I just want to have a new exercise thread on Sunday)!!! Since the NOLA was meant to go to Mardi Gras, it seemeth that the consensus be we need a vernal equinox challenge. I'm thinking we can all just post personal exercise related challenges and go from there ... I'm going to continue with my 360 minutes a week and everyone can continue with what they're continuing with ... hope that soundeth ok dokey ... I'm going to post this verra post on the main thread as well ... sure and b'gorra (St. Pat's Day is somewhat close to the vernal equinox, so ... ) ...
  • Ah, final report from me. As of the end of Shrove Tuesday, I totalled 2507 miles which I think leaves me in NO after two prior round trips (a few miles for being lost a time or two).

    Will be joining in new challenge. Am heading home on Sunday and expect to be back on line and catching up by midweek.
