Punkin o' Friday do declareth, it is in fact...

Friday!!!!!
Day started out really bad... got an exreeeeemely angry message left on our company's voicemail. Apparently my brother cut someone off last night and some idiot with a cell phone thought it the perfect thing to do to call our 800 number (on the side of my brother's van) and leave a lengthy message, sprinkled with various expletives, and ended the call describing my brother's house... not what I needed this morning. I did call and warn my brother. I'm not all that worried - if the man had any um, "guts" he would've confronted my brother then and there instead of being a coward and leaving an annonymous obnoxious voicemail message.
Unfortunately, said chicken $#!t man did not leave a return phone number (that would be far too brave of him). I would've looooved to had a little talk with him.... (did I mention that I can be a tad confrontational??)
Cell phones + idiots who need anger management classes = bad idea
Anagram - I am so happy that things seem to be slowly returning to some sense of normal for you and hubby. I'm sure it was great to get out together. Just spending time together doing nothing in particular is the best...
Ceara - Congrats on the string of OP days!! I must admit I share in your scale activities. I don't know - I just think there's something wonderful in standing on a scale and seeing your goal weight by WHATEVER means you can make it happen!!!!
Eydie & Ceara - I'm with you both. I live in the boonies, 30 minutes from a grocery store. I will *not* make a special trip - that's a challenge I made to myself a while ago.
Eydie - Congrats on the loss!!!
As for the not eating late. Maybe it's easy for me because I eat dinner at 5-6pm and am normally in bed by 9'ish at the lastest for work. I eat dinner and I'm done - I guess I should count myself lucky that it's not a problem. A lot of times I'll take a cup of hot tea to bed though... Maybe the reason I don't have a problem with it is because it's been SO long since I've snacked at night that it *has* gotten easier to not do it!
Kaylets - Nope, I missed Connie Chung - sounds like it was interesting though!
Arabella - I indulged in some chocolate yesterday too - both of us did it responsibly though - amazing!
My best friend in CA sent me See's candy for my birthday yesterday - bridge mix, my favorite.

I haven't had it in a year. I was about to call her and ask her WHAT she thought she was doing - then opened the box and found that she'd shrink wrapped each individual serving for me so I could freeze it and take out one little bag w/ about 8 pieces at a time. Realizing how much time it must've taken her to do this I knew in my heart I couldn't just open up all the little bags and binge... the box is in the freezer right now and funny, it's not even calling to me.
Time to skeedaddle...
Terri
It is Friday, and I am
