  • Sure. My longest stint was 2 years. Hormones just do what they do -- which is why protection is important. Might think you are all good with the AWOL menses, but we always ovulate BEFORE the period... even the normal cycle gals. So if Trying to Avoid... TTA!

    It could be because you are working on weight loss -- that could shake up the hormones some.

  • Hi ladies!

    So sorry that I have been MIA. How's everyone doing?

    I have had a couple of up and down weeks hormone wise, but overall pretty good. I am so happy that I finally am out of the 300's... barely, but I'll take it LOL.

    I am really starting to feel a few changes in my body, which i find amazing, and I actually think I had a 'partial' period. I felt cramps and I actually had light bleeding one day. That is huge because I usually have one period a year or one every couple of years, and then it's super heavy purplish-blood clotting type blood.

    I'm hoping that by losing more weight, my body will start to regulate. I have a long way to go but I'm hopeful.

    Also, I'm down 3 pants sizes since January and boy is that amazing!

    Hi, gang.

    So I'm still taking it one thing at a time. Mom's in a better headspace, Dad seems to be calming down from his outburst. We still need to get him through his appointments to get him checked out, but at least he's not acting out like he had been. So difficult with elder patients.

    I cleaned the fridge, made some soup, went to a gathering of friends that was good for MY mental health, and I started the week food logging. A bit wobbly monday but I nailed it today. (Goal is 1800, I came in at 1741 calories).

    I'm not sure if I will work out or get kid to bed and run do groceries so I can cook ahead. Right now that's helping me the most to stay on track -- to already have food there.

    I'm glad things are better for you astrophe, too.

    I'm doing fine, too. I'm sticking to my diet and exercise plan. I'm a little tired, a little stressed out from work, and I've been sleeping really heavy! I guess I'm exhausted. I just have a lot on my shoulders right now.

    I never got my period but I think, as someone else said, that I had a hormonal period! Last year, I also skipped my period in this time frame. I wonder what it is......

  • Hi. Nothing new here. Just TOM waiting time. I am bloated! I feel so uncomfortable and puffy.

    About to try to workout anyway -- not sure which DVD I will do, but I want to do something!

    I haven't been posting too much here or very much in 3FCs. I've been good, on plan, but I haven't dropped below 166.0. I woke up to that weight this morning (again).

    I'm not discouraged, but I was thinking about in the last three months (from January 1) I've lost 7 pounds. I'm happy that the loss has happened and it's amazing to look back and realize that it's been 7 pounds in three months. That's a chunk of weight that's come off!

    But I really wanted to be at 160 today. I thought that losing 13ish lbs in three months was feasible since it was only 1 lb per week.

    I love Fitday, because it gives me all this stat date on my weight loss.

    At the end of the day, I've lost about 0.5 lbs every week. Which sounds a lot steadier than it has been.

    I guess I'm neither discouraged nor proud. I'm both emotions mixed up right now.

    I also had to reschedule my follow up with my endoc until May, after I do a bit of traveling and I don't know where I will be weight wise. I guess if I'm at this weight, I'll be happy, although I wish I could be at 160 for that appointment.

    If it took me 3 months to lose 7 pounds, I don't think I can lose 6 lbs in 6 weeks............ especially if I'm traveling.

    I guess I'm kind of blah right now.
