    Yay for Internet connection for Sweetcaroline - good to have you back. The Nation is getting a little desperate here.

    WILD RIDE indeed, Gary - methinks that Manny should play 3 months for each team then move on. The whole world was in awe of his first 3 months as a Dodger - that was truly amazing.

    What a funny ending to Manny's career at the Dodgers. I guess he wanted to be done playing that day. We'll see how he does at his new home.

    Clyde, the local weather guy on the radio is a Cards fan. He was all perky this morning about how great the weather is and how wonderful it is to live here, etc. Then someone brought up the Cards and he said, "Well, that ruins my Tuesday." Poor guy.

    Diane, now you have a Manny of your own... Manny Delcarmen... hope he fits well into your bullpen, he was superb in other years for us... Young kid... Just having a bad 'year'...

    I agree, we could spread Manny R. around... I'm sure he'd love it...

    We are in Baltimore... you'd think we could take a few... but I'm not saying a word... we are already down by one in the first...

    I can't bear to watch this team right now. Awful, just awful.

    Still can't beat the Astros.

    I don't think LaRussa will be back after this season ends.

    Also Pujol's contract is looming.

    Reds coming to town this weekend and we have tickets to 2 games.

    Unbelievable. It's like an actual nightmare that they can't get out of.

    I'll never stop watching or rooting but it's like a zombie version of our team. And it has me very worried for the future.

    I think that's a wrap Bill, Mr. Toad's wild ride is closed for the 2010 season.... When we can't step up and beat the Orioles with Beckett on the mound... we are in trouble... ....

    Could the Rockies be any more flat than they were last night? Sigh. They win enough to keep me hopeful, just so they can break my heart. It's a conspiracy!!

    We'll have to see how our new Manny works out for us. Just glad it isn't THE Manny.
