    redlight, it was a faded glory bikini. I actually got it at walmart, and it wasn't even $20 bucks total. lol

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I think I probably will wear it now...I'm feeling more comfortable with the idea. =D

    I've never in my entire life worn a bikini. I'm a size 10 but I feel like half my weight went to my stomach, and I have so many big ugly stretch marks that I think it will be forever out of the question for me. It makes me sad because I've always been the person who 1) doesn't exercise, 2) can't do public speaking, and 3) can't wear bikinis. I feel like wearing one would convince me that I can break away from all of that and be someone else...

    Divine...i love it and I think you look great so rock it!

    As for myself...I'm of the opinion that you should wear whatever you feel like and anyone who is judging you can just stop looking. I live in Miami so I am surrounded by skinny hot girls in bikinis.
    When I moved down here a few years ago for grad school, I had recently lost aroun 85 pounds by the time I needed a bathing suit and while shopping I found a bikini...so I said...screw it and wore it (at around 200 lbs).

    I still wear a bikini when I feel like it...I may not be skinny...but I like the bathing suit and ****...I have more problems with my legs than anything and bathing suits don't cover that.

    I will! Next year around my 21st birthday my parents are planning on a family cruise around mexico. Hells yes! I am going to lose this weight and then some by then!

    I never have worn a bikini... and I've always wanted to! I don't know how I'll feel about it when I reach my goal; My goal, more than loosing weight, includes a lot of exercise and toning until I have a flat tummy... but, I just had twins. I have a cesarean scar, overhang of loose skin at the bottom and BIG stretchmarks. So nobody will thank me if I wear a bikini. I guess in a way I'm aspiring to something that is not possible. I have been googling bikini photos as my motivation... I think,"I want my body to look like that!", but it never will
