Just try not to make those waffles a regular thing.
And MONI, try to keep those carbs balanced fairly evenly across the day. Stay away from the highly refined ones and try to make sure that lots of your carbs come from brightly coloured vegetables and some fruits. Personally, I find that a 40% to 50% carb level works better for me, but everybody is different. Here's a link to the ADA site . . .

Well, the above is definitely in the vein of "do as I say, not as I do" this morning
. I must own up to losing a battle with some Cool Whip last night. Unfortunately Cool Whip (with all that HFCS) and Peanut Butter (too much fat) are my worst triggers. I somehow cannot eat just a TBSP, or two, of either one. Anyway . . . I managed to keep the calorie count (and the overall carb count) within proper limits but the FBGL was 8.2 / 148 this morning.
Hope the rest of you have a really great day and that you see some nice sun. Unfortunately there is nothing but wet and windy in our forecast -- but no snow.
