So happy to have her home.....Not much else new. I'm so happy it's Friday. I've had a very busy week at work, and finally had to ask for an extension for one deadline. I hated to but with our ongoing computer issues, plus everything else I'm working on it would just be impossible to meet. Plus, it's a semi-artificial deadline, and applies to all the libraries in the state who must file this report - they'll have plenty to read on time, and wouldn't be ready for mine the day it's due anyway, right?
Looking forward to the weekend. It's definitely fall here, so I'll be doing lots of getting ready for winter stuff. DH filled the woodbox yesterday, and put away all the deck furniture. I'll be freezing swiss chard (which he already picked), and picking the last of the peas. We had some last night for dinner - very yummy. DH is leaving Sunday for one last camping trip, so I'll have a few days alone which sadly I usually use as an opportunity to work late to try to catch up..... Gonna work some exercise into the weekend as well.

?
a couple of lbs. which I then take off the following week
and plan to still be there after the weekend.
when I get on that plane for NYC. I'm putting on my skinniest jeans, which I will wear while in NYC, every night to keep from eating in front of the TV.

) and gains are pretty common. The key is to do exactly what you've done, which is nip it in the bud NOW before it gets out of hand and get right back to where you want to be. It's obvious that you are a total superstar at weight loss, so now's the time to go back to Weight Loss 101 -- go back to basics -- and deal with your gain before it gets too big and scary. Have you read Thin For Life? Chapter 5: Nip It In The Bud: Break The Relapse Cycle might be helpful to you and we have a discussion about it
. Got to be water/bloat. Ate 280 extra calories of rice chips (better than they sound) but no way does that make a 2 lb. "real" weight gain
