Oh I will keep you in my prayers. People who don't have pain all the time have no idea how it effects a person. I have to admit there are days I just want to be left alone. Where on earth do you live? I think it is getting way to crowded on earth how about we move somewhere else lol.

At least since my son has gotten older I can tell the kids apart by their voices. Oh my gosh, until just a few years ago if I didn't see them talking I had no idea which one was saying what.

Hopefully people will buy my junk at our yard sale next month. I'd rather get a little moolah for it. Whatever doesn't sell is going to Goodwill though. We want to try to fit everything into a 16 foot truck again.

Thankfully, my sister has most of our parents stuff (all the stuff with emotional attachments.) I was kinda ticked about that at first, but she hasn't moved in 10 years so it's safer with her. I'll claim stuff once we actually live in the same place for awhile. Which I hope is soon, I'm so tired of moving!

Shy, I live in ND. It is a small (VERY SMALL) town and I like it. I am 3 blocks from work, 6 to daycare, 8 to grandma's house, 2 to the school, 2 to the park/pool.

I agree there are days that I just want to be left alone. Especially when the pain kicks in. And like you said, people just dont understand unless they have been through it. It really makes weight loss/exercise hard, but I do what I can, and sometimes I just have to work through the pain because I know if I make my ideal weight my leg will give me less trouble.

Nah, next time stop at a supermarket that broils chickens (like Walmart does) and buy a whole chicken for that about $4.00....you can eat on for a few days. lol

My horse, Lady Ebony hated men, too. She was owned by some teenager boys before I got her and I think they were abusive. Thundergirl was also owned by boys and was a biter and kicker when she came to me. I think those boys were mean as well.

Still and Shy ~ I know what you mean about living with pain daily. I have a bad hip from a ridding accident and it can really mess things up for me. I thankful when it doesn't hurt. It isn't super painful but its enough that I do my best not to make it any worse. I have the stamina to jog, can't do it because I will pay for it the next day. I don't sleep on that side and I am careful to make sure I don't over extend it or I pay. Even ridding my horse hurt. I definitely don't want to make it any worse.

That is a good idea because we have several grocery stores that do it in my area. Knight, our Morgan, we are positive had an abusive male owner at some point. Our farriers are a husband and wife team and she always trimmed him because he didn't stand well for him. I just have to say it, because I loved his registered name. His name was Briarlaneroyalknight. The farm was Briar Lane and the blood lines appeared to have a lot of Royal names it it.

We had a male Bassett Hound that we bought for breeding that was a boys pet and that was the meanest dog I have ever been around. DH ended up taking him to the pound to be put down because he went after one of our girls. He went after me several times and actually was jumping for my throat. Of course I was trying to put him on his chain because he was naughty and he wasn't happy. Thank goodness he wasn't tall enough to reach my throat. DH had to go after him with a shovel to keep him from getting me. Didn't do much with the dog after that and when he went after my daughter when she was trying to feed him enough was enough.

That is great that your Sis can hold on to the emotional stuff. My Mom still has some of my grandparents stuff for me because I am afraid of breaking it or someone else breaking it. They are expensive antique oil lamps my grandma collected. I know some are valued over $2000.

I do so understand getting close to the old dears. There aren't many left in the family now. My mother, my sister and me. An aunt somewhere and an uncle in California. Everyone else is gone. I think that is the reason I like the old dears too. Sorry you had such a rough day. It will get better.

There are things many of us have to do so we can get day to day. I can't jog. I can but I don't because it really makes the knees hurt. I can only do about 30 lunges ( 15 on each leg take a break and then 15 more on each. The back knee sure isn't going clear to the floor lol ) because the knees kill me.

Eat on one chicken for days lol. My two kids can have one picked clean in 1/2 hour flat lol.

There are days it isn't that I don't want to exercise. It is that it hurt so much to exercise. I still do it and every time Leslie says, " Doesn't that feel good." I scream NO IT DOESN'T lol. Someone in the house will yell to someone else in the house, " She is in there yelling at poor Leslie again." My legs and knees and back and such will never give me less trouble lol but they will be stronger and that is good. I love living in such a small town. We aren't that far away from everything, maybe 1/2 hour, since everything is growing up around us.

I was always the one that had to keep all the special stuff from the family. When I turned 16 my hope chest was filled with all the family china and crystal and silver and so forth from my great grandmother. My sister was given nothing. I never could understand why I got everything. I thought it was because I was the oldest daughter. My grandmother told me it was because my sister would never amount to anything and would probably lose it, break it or sell it. How on earth could they know something like that when she was only 15 lol. Well, they were right lol. I still have things that I told her she could have if she ever settled down into a home for more than a couple of years at a time. She called at Christmas time and wanted to use our great grandmothers Chantilly lace table cloth. I said ok and I took it over to her house. OH MY GOSH her youngest ( age 13 ) was using the embroidered table cloth I had made for her as a tent. I brought my great grandmothers table cloth right back home with me lol.

Shy ~ Lets say they could tell. For instance, I knew my ODD was going to live the life she is living before she got there. She will never crawl out of this completely unless she finds some crazy guy that is rich and wants to take care of her. My YDD I can tell is going to follow in my foot steps of where I am now. The only difference is she doesn't want to have kids until she is older and is taking all precautions available.

Tinky ~ Don't forget you can have rice noodles instead of regular pasta. You will have some cravings for sugar and/or salty foods for the first few weeks but it will pass. I commend you for what you did because that is a hard thing to do. You know I fell flat on my face last week with losing Smoke but I am back on track this week. I was still 173 this morning but it was a Thursday weigh in and I always stay the same or gain for some reason.

Here is the mindset/reality that I am working on right now. I only have 42 lbs left to lose. If I kept my nose to the grind stone for 4 months that weight would be gone and I could move on the LL (living lean) which I have already decided how I am going to do that. I am going to follow the program all week and then on weekends relax. I know I can lose the rest of the weight in 4 months, that really isn't that big of a commitment. I am just finally ready to have this done and over with.

I pledge to myself to have this weight off by the end of August. Just a small commitment for a huge reward. I love myself enough to do this. I would do it for a friend and I can do it.

I already have enough meat prepared for the weekend so I don't have to cook protein for my snacks. Fruit is a no brainer for my snacks. I also have some carbs cooked up and ready to go in case the family wants some kind of ICK. I can do this.

I want to be at 170 by Monday and I can do it if I stay POP this weekend. That is my goal.

I was watching Joyce Meyers and she said something that made me laugh but also made me realize its the truth and I am applying this to my life. People say I just can't resist or stop eating something. So lets say I saw something that was off plan and went to get it because I just can't resist it. Now what if I went to get it and someone held a gun to your head and said "Touch it and you die", would I then resist? I sure would because there is an immediate threat to my life. I keep playing this in my head when I think about eating off plan food. The reality is no, my weight isn't causing me any physical danger at this moment but it could eventually. It may not be causing me any physical danger at this time but what is it doing to me psychologically and what is it doing to my life. It is making my life unhappy and God never intended for me to live a miserable life and being fat makes me miserable. So its time to fix it. Food can not make me happy.

OK, just needed to say all this. Maybe it will help someone else and I am going to keep this in my mind. This program is not asking me to kill myself in the gym or go hungry. It is simply asking me to eat good for me foods and exercise just a little. Why have I had such a hard time getting it together. OH thats right pizza and bad food taste good. LOL!

Well I am off. I don't know if I will be on again until Monday. I took tomorrow off to go with DH to some appointments for his knee and even though we have internet at home he can get a little bit upset when I get on.
