I just want to say good luck to all the ladies who are doing the c25k right now. I stared the c25k program at the beginning of the new year, and I have to tell you, I never thought I would make it past week 2. But, and I'm sorry to be loud about this, I just finished week 5, workout 3 which is 20 MINUTES STRAIGHT RUNNING!! I am doing the program in minute increments instead of the distance because I am doing it on the treadmill and to be able to do the distance I would have to run at 6 mph and my short little legs can't go that fast, so I've been running it at 5 mph. I just ran for 20 straight minutes at 5 mph and I FEEL SO EMPOWERED! I got so worried when I saw that workout coming up and I never thought I would be able to complete it. I honestly don't care about becoming a real runner or ever running in a race, but just being able to run for that long makes all of this eating healthy, exercising, etc worth it. If I can do it, I know anyone can do it!

Today is our daughters 2nd birthday. What a way to spend her birthday, huh?
