See, today I weighed in at
178.2 lbs, but I'm not buying it. I can't even get upset about it, because I know there are just waaay too many things factoring into it... On Saturday I had a planned indulgence meal that I limited to smaller portions, but it was sooo chock-ful of sodium (like as I was eating it, I thought
Damn! This is going to cause some SERIOUS water retention!) Then after dinner I did a pretty intense workout, y'know, to help make up for the extra calories, but I also did some weight training for one of the first times EVER, so my muscles are still very sore and swollen... Does that usually make you all spike up a pound or two? I guzzled water like a freaking MADWOMAN yesterday, but I didn't find myself making the frequent trips to the bathroom that usually come with it, so that's probably a bad sign, lol. OH!--and last but not least, (TMI alert) my "plumbing" is very, er, backed up--I don't think I've had a proper BM since last Wednesday! So, I hope it doesn't sound like I'm making excuses, but in all honesty I don't think that number is very accurate. Even with the one indulgence meal, there's just no way I could have gained 1.6 lbs of fat since Friday! Lol.
Oh well. At least it'll be fun if everything is back to normal by Friday's weigh-in, cuz I'll get to see a nice big loss. Wish me luck this week, girls! And good luck to all of you!
