Mom was having what was called cluster headaches/migrane. Hubby has them because hes got back issues too. Were just a sad couple lol.. First he broke his neck, and then ruptured 3 discs at work from a semi tire. But I really think that the reasons he gets them is because of his neck. Hubby takes zomig? Mom doesnt take anything. Her's mysteriously disappeared a few years ago. However, I will always remember those screams.
What does yours come from? Just appears or comes with health problems? Boy Im nosey aint I?

I have heard of cluster headaches! There are so many different names for them! I was amazed when I was reading all of the different names.

WOW!! He has got to be in a lot of pain! And yes, I totally agree... they may be his neck! Has he ever thought of seeing a chiropractor? They help me a lot.

The meds my doc put me on is called Midrin. He said if these do not work, or don't work for long he will find something else. But so far these have helped.

I know my back problems are part of my headaches. But it is also my site... it sucks! I am supposed to wear glasses but my eyes change (stigmatism if that is spelled right) every 3 months roughly and that just got to expensive! So I just ignore it lol. I can read and do everything! I just have trouble with fine print... and driving at night on our dark and fast country roads. But I don't go out at night so that is fine. Stress is also a big factor to my headaches. I try to stay away from it. Yeah right lol, like that is possible lol. I do try though lol. I am not sure if anything else triggers them or not. I can't remember what the doc said when I seen him for this. I was so sick at that time that I just sat there. I had the flu and a migraine at the same time! It was terrible!

Wow again! It just dawned on me as you mentioned back issues. I remember now seeing you talk about that! See what I mean with bad memory?
I have a stigmatism in my left eye. I cant see without my glasses even says on my drivers license. lol Im not sure whats happened to my eyes but tv's and monitors has lines in them when others dont see it. Maybe Im a crazy lady. lol My doctor took my presciption down and it helped with the movements. Luckily C.Support was taking 500.00 a month from hubby we had qualified for a medical card. My frames alone was 80.00. So I understand completely the expenses. I personally feel people should be able to have there eyes checked and free glasses every 5 years.

Yes he sees a chiropractor but not as much as the dr. wants him to go. His medicare card only covers once a month when he needs to be there 2x's a week.

Lol.... I forgot a lot of what I find on these boards too! Lol. It is hard to remember everything, and everyone you talk to. These boards are huge! Lol.

C. Support... is that child support? He was paying $500.00 a month? For how many kids if you don't mind me asking? I am lucky to get $250.00 a month for one kid! It gets on my last nerve!!!

I agree eye checkups should be free or at least low cost every so often for everyone. And the glasses... they cost as if they were really made out of gold!! That is exactly why I stopped going. We don't have optical insurance so everything was paid for right out of our pockets. And we definetely cannot afford that now that we make less money now. It is ridiculous.

WOW! Sounds you like you have a real hard time with your one eye!! I would imagine the headaches that would give you!

Far sided.... ummm... I can't remember lo. It has been a few years since I have seen the eye doctor. I can tell you... I cannot see far distance while driving a car. I never did understand the far and near sided stuff lol.

Who could see a chiropractor as much as they want us to! I was going every day for a couple of weeks. Then twice a week for awhile. Then I just stopped. As much as it helps... it won't help my pocket book if medical card only covers so much. I go when my back gets really out of whack... so bad that I can't sleep and so on. By then, I end up moving into the chiropractors office practically lol.

Yeah my vet is cute and so is my regular doc llol. Although, my regular doc does not seem to have a sence of humor lol. I don't see him to often anymore. I see other doc's in the office instead.

That was for 1 kid. Long story C.S lost alot of our reciepts we paid and was over charging us. Also, they wasnt giving my stepsons mother any of the money. My oldest daughter was only getting 50.00 a month and he only paid 3x's in the whole 10 years. Why hubby adopted her. My ex didnt want any part at all.

My chiropractor only charges me $20.00 cause my girls are covered on the med card. So he cuts me a break. I go about every 2 months but I would like to go 1x a month. Plus, he was raised up in the same school as I was.. and weve known him for about 8 years now. His son is also one and I dont like seeing him, hes to rough with the fingers. I like the ones that will rub your neck after the adjustment lol Who wouldnt like a free rub that stuff can hurt!
My doctor has no sense of humor either. Hes a very dull person and has no respect!! Ive thought about switching doctors myself there is about 4 of them in the same clinic.

I completely understand without you even having to go into more detail! I went through that crap to! Some men can be such uncaring pigs, and yet some of them can be total angels! Go figure! My husband adopted my son too. Though it took us almost 14 years to do because the biological father denied being the father but also refused to sign over his rights or pay child support! Another long story here too! It is so sad how some men can do things like this!

Yeah I think thats it! It does sound firmiliar (sp?). But I can see if it things are to close to my face either. It is so weird lol. But seeing far away.... you can forget it lol. Like a street sign... I cannot read it unless we are right up on it, sitting still (like at a stop light or stop sign) and it has light to see it clearly!

I have a $2.00 co-pay for the chirpractor. That is nice! I couldn't afford it otherwise. But we do have to pay in full for x-rays and stuff. The medical card don't cover the x-rays at all at the chiropractors office. But they cover them in an emergency room I think! What the difference is, is beyong me lol.

Right! I totally hate that! Try one of the other docs... you might find one you really like then. I tried the other docs really because I didn't have a choice sometimes because I was just to sick to wait a couple of days to be seen. Now some of the doctors in the office I would rather never see, but most of them are very nice. Never hearts to try.
