My NSV for today is, I worked out at the gym for about an hour. 30 minute cardio (treadmill and elliptical) and 30 minute weight training. Actually I have been doing this since Thursday I believe, so 3 days down. Tomorrow, I know for a fact that I will not be able to go to the gym, but will make it a top priority to do some form of exercise. I probably will be doing some at home workout shortly, but feeling really blah!!!
Another NSV today - A dress that I bought in November that was a bit snug and needed major "shape wear" to be wearable, was worn without said shape wear and was actually loose today! I also had people complimenting me on how thin I looked! A few more pounds lost, and the dress will no longer be wearable and will go in the donation pile....
i'm such a weakling. and i've always been embarrassed to do strength training because i'd be lucky to bench the bar by itself. but i did it... and enjoyed it. and now feel like i need to conquer the machine.
NSV for the day, I did an hour on the elliptical trainer. And I stay in and above my target heart rate the complete workout. Well maybe within the first 6-8 minutes. I'm feeling really good now.i don't know about doing anything else for the day, but I am happy I was able to get some cardio in today!!!
NSV recently has been sleeping on a more regular schedule.
I recently realized how regular sleep helps wit those numbers on the scale. I make sure to get at least7 hours in. I noticed at less than that, like 2 or 3 hours.. I wouldn't have lost anything OR actually gained.
resisting the temptation to stop at the snack bar when shopping at costco and resisting the free samples they set out at the end of the aisle. small nsv but a great feeling afterward.
