  • The 160's have finally let me go! 159.0 this morning! See you all soon!
  • I finally got on scale today after a week spent recovering from a stall plus travel and I didn't have to face a regain-- current weight is on ticker. Figuring out what had stalled me made all the difference. It's interesting how as my body changes, my food has needed to shift too in order to continue losing. I know it doesn't work that way for everyone-- some people seem to lose all the way to goal with the same exact menus-- but maybe with my age and insulin resistance, I've needed to figure stuff out and adjust. Anyway, looking forward to the next four pounds gone... I love you all in this thread but dearly want to leave you.
  • Hi, I'll be joining you guys! I just weighed-in at 169lbs this morning!!!!
  • Just popping in to say hello...hope to see 169.9 next WI (Friday) so I can officially join this thread
  • Woo-hoo! It's official, 169.1!! I'm going to be on a bit of a hiatus now until January, but I very much look forward to getting to know you lovely 160's ladies and working our way out together
  • Congrats, Northern, and have a great vacation!
  • Thanks, Steph! Wow, 165 already!? Good for you! Well, I look forward to spending a little time with you in here before you move on to the 150's. Happy Holidays!
  • Happy New Year!

Well, I had quite the indulgent week this past week...had a great time, hopefully I will still consider it "worth it" after my first post-holiday weigh-in this Friday, lol. I'm sure I'm back to 170-something, but hopefully not for long. First order of busines will be to get back to my ticker weight ASAP!

Hope everyone had a great holiday, and best wishes to all for 2012!

Northern, I've also been somewhat indulgent over the holidays. I've been maintaining at least and have been fluctuating between 169-170lbs. I'll be happy to get to the point where I never have to see the 170's again when I'm fluctuating!!!
  • Northern, I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. You went somewhere warm, right?

I'm a little stuck in the mid-160s but that's okay for now.
  • Well, I'm back at work and back to plan 100% today. I know 3 days OP is not going to undo the damage of over a week of bad eating, but hopefully I can take some of the bloat off (I'm also on TOM, so hopefully that will also be over by Friday!) I can only hope my body is as resistant to gaining as it has been to losing lately, but somehow that just seems like wishful thinking!

Running: I'm I'm *only* 170 lbs on Friday, I will be doing the happy dance! But I know what you mean...so nice when you finally get low enough (with fluctuations, etc.) to leave the last decade behind forever.

Steph: no, we didn't go anywhere warm this year. We usually do, but our break was kind of short so we stuck closer to home. We were away for 5 days though, so that was nice. Surprisingly, we haven't had much of a winter to speak of yet. We're way behind in average snowfall and our temps are like 7 degrees above normal. Maybe this IS the year the world ends, ha!
  • Nothern: Good luck on Friday!

Today, I was 169.0lbs, aHHHH!!! The stupid scale kept fluctuating between 76.7kg and 76.6 kg so (169.0 and 169.87), why couldn't it have just landed on 76.6kg, arg! Hopefully tomorrow.
  • Hello ladies, I'm joining back in.... I have been in the 160's since I took a break in july....:-o lol. I'm very happy to know that i was able to maintain for that long but now its back to losing... I'm at 163.9 and would love to be out of the 160's. I ran my first 10k on october 31st, and would like to run another in march. If I just start training for that again and calorie count then hopefully I will lose. I just need to find a good calorie number while training... I hope to moving down the next level with you all.
  • Running a 10K in March in Michigan? Brrrr!!! Good luck, you look terrific in that photo.

I'm happy to be below 165, given how much wacky eating I've been doing lately. I've managed to stay committed to exercising every day, so that has helped a lot.
  • Hello, everyone! I've been trying to get into this thread for awhile, but just could not shake the 170s. Today I weighed in at 169! I know I just "barely qualify" to be here, but darn it, I am sticking my foot in the door before it slams shut!

It's nice to finally be here!
