I do a journal daily, then once a week I enter it into Fitday to see how I did. It gives me a breakdown of calories, protein, fat, carbs and also individual nutrients if interested. My journal also includes my morning and evening blood pressure, blood glucose and weight. On Fitday, I have my starting and periodic measurements. I got this idea from someone on another board who was able to go back and see what she weighed 3 years ago, to the day. I know this is obsessive, but I like doing this, and it challenges me to keep my readings in line. Also, with my medical problems, it's important for me to know if there are any sudden changes in my weight and especially my blood pressure readings. Originally Posted by WebWoman

I am in a monthly exercise challenge and I also record daily how many minutes I exercised.
I think it would be better if I used Fitday to plan my meals rather than recording them after the fact. That way, if I followed my plan I would be staying on program rather than finding out afterwards where I went wrong. But I don't think that far ahead to plan what I'm going to eat throughout the day. A lot has to do with what DH wants to do....if we eat out or if I cook.

I'm going to see if the transmission place can give me a discount on fixing the old girl. Hate to see it go as it's great for moving kids and hauling.
