  • 80% of these suckers are B9.

And, of that 20% that are positive, 80% live normal lives and it never comes back.

Honest. I'm 2.5 years out myself.

So sorry you have to do this - it sucks, and it is SO scary.

  • Quote: Did they do the biopsy already?
I have the biopsy this Tuesday. I had surgery to have a very large lipoma removed from my back on Wednesday.
  • Thanks everyone for the support
  • You're in my thoughts and especially so on Tuesday.
    Hang in there.
Hope you are recuperating from the surgery.
  • Sending out prayers and blessing and hugs.
  • Are you having a needle biopsy or a surgical biopsy ?
  • Onederchic - I am so sorry you have to face these health challenges. I am wishing you the best results possible. Hugs and prayers to you,
  • Thanks

I believe it is a needle biopsy. I had a lumpectomy back in 1996 or 1997, same breast, and it was benign so fingers crossed that this is too.

I will be praying that it will be found to be benign. It seems that you have had an awful lot on your plate lately.
Maybe you will have the experience my cousin had. She had an exray that showed a spot on her lung. She was so scared thst she flew fom her home in Iowa to her parents home in Minnesota to tell them goodbye. When she returned home she had a call from her doctor's office, they had given her someone else's results ! She was relieved but she quit smoking immediately ! Of course it wasn't such good news for the other lady.
  • Thank you very much, that means a lot to me.

The doctor said he wouldn't be very worried about what he seen on my right breast if I had the same on my left and if not for my family history (my momma and one of my sisters have battled breast cancer). So he said for those reasons, the "cluster" (his word, not mine) he seen on my right breast "worries" him (again, his word).

I am trying to remain positive, I am not sitting believe I have cancer. I just want it all to be over with. The surgery to remove that huge lipoma and now this, jeez, I am tired :/
  • Thinking of you! Take care of yourself, pamper yourself a little and rest!
  • Thanks Donna
  • Hope you are recovering well and feeling better! Sending positive vibes your way that all will be well with your mammogram.
  • Onederchic I'm keeping you in my Prayers.
