  • DOH! nuts --- I have to admit they are one of my occasional problem children as well, IrishSarah. How in the heck did you snatch one and then mange to outrun, outdodge and in general evade the rest? Kudos to you for your powerful stopping power!

    Sorry the rest of the day went south after that, but you made your mini-goal and will keep right on disappearing before our very eyes!

    It's always easier when you are first starting out. I haven't been doing anything with my weight loss since I caught Lyme's last June. That's almost a year ago,,,but I did keep off 50 pounds of my first loss (Oct 2007-May2008). The first week is always that water weight that is so easy to lose...I'll know more about my program after the first couple of weigh-ins.

  • My goal is 23 lbs. This week I only lost .5 but TOM is arriving in 1-2 days so I think my actual loss is greater and will appear on the scale next week as long as I stay vigilant this week do the right things.

    I'm finally feeling really on track attitude wise and determination wise. I still don't hava plan but I have a new urge in me not to eat all the time, it's been really weird the last week, not eating when I'm emotional, I've been checking myself and almost without trying having this happen. I know that it may change or something but I feel like I can really do this. I've had a really great week! WEights are doing good but this week cardio really hasn't happened, so I have to work on that this week and getting my sleep so I can get up to do the cardio.
  • Can I join?? I am week behind you all. I have my first weigh in tomorrow.
    I would like to lose 30lbs. Ambitious yes...but heck why not?
