  • Watched Journey 3D with Brandon Fraser- it was pretty good
  • I agree, watch Pans Labryinth again!

Just saw Hellboy II this weekend - just as good as Hellboy I - if you haven't either, definitely see I first ..... they're both terrific but should be seen in sequence......
  • The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - it's amazing what you can do with a brain and one eye.
  • I've been trying to catch up on my DVR-recorded movies so I can delete them (some have been on there since LAST summer!) I watched The Good Year earlier this week - I liked it better than the book, I think. Nothing too heavy, a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

This morning I saw Once Around with Holly Hunter, Richard Dreyfuss and Danny Aiello. I totally missed this when it came out in 1991, and I really loved it. I got all weepy in front of my boys.
  • Old classics:

    The Professional
    Con Air

    New adventures:

    Batman Begins
The Dark Night (Although I never liked Heath Ledger, I heard he gives a tour de force performance.)
  • Finally got around to seeing Sex and the City. Not bad, but it was a little long and really didn't have a whole lot of laughs. Glad that I didn't pay full price for it.

Now that it's out on DVD, I HIGHLY recommend "The Bank Job"!!! Fantastic all around.

And I agree, KO - Watch Pan's Labryinth. We LOVE that movie!
  • dying to see Dark Knight. almost went out tonight for a midnight show- but work comes early in the morning, i would never have made it. probably go tomorrow night after work!

I watched Charlie Bartlett and loved it- I don't know why so many people didn't like it. Watched and enjoyed the horror-ish movie The Ruins, tried and couldn't get through the latest Alien v. Predator. Yawn. I thought Spiderwick was good, but not great.

i have really high hopes for batman though. mmm. christian bale! AND Maggie Gyllenhal.
  • I recently watched a French film, Avenue Montaigne. Very cute.
