So far today is a better day, mentally and eating-wise. I'm drinking my water and eating healthy. I hate those melt downs. I'm packing all the bags of chips, the Little Debbies, and sending them with my hubby when he goes to work tonight, and he's not allowed to bring that junk back in. He's going to have to give up some things to help me thru this, and it wouldn't hurt him to lose a few too.
My dil sent yet another card just to my Dad. She just loves twisting the knife. I'm sure he will receive Christmas presents as well since she loves to keep stabbing away at the rest of us. The funny thing is, is my Dad didn't want my son to marry her either, but she thinks becuz he played pool with her one time, that she's so wonderful, if she only knew. O well, can't dwell on something I have no control over.
For Thanksgiving, we aren't going to be cooking a big dinner. It will be just the four of us, my Mom and Dad, hubby and I. We're going to go out for dinner somewhere and then head up to the casino for a couple of hours, as my hubby has to work that night. He will get the Wednesday before off though. For Christmas, since it will be the four of us again, I want to go to a kitchen and help give out the meals they serve to the homeless. I've wanted to do this for a few years now, I just don't know if there are any around here or closer to Seattle.
Thank you for your encouraging words. I knew I could count on you to help me thru it. I just have to get strong and say NO to things again.
Story, I think it's your bp too. Mine does a nose dive when I lose a certain amount of weight and have to have it readjusted.
BrandNewme, sorry to hear the problems your having. Things WILL get better. The bank thing was actually a good thing that happened to you, even though its a hassle, but you got some money back which is a good thing. Sorry to hear about your Dad too, take care.
Carol, I missed ya!!
Hi Jar, glad you like it here.
Heather, I would think that you would have weight loss down to a science, but then I realize it's not something that will ever go away, but something I will have to deal with the rest of my life. You have worked on strategies to succeed, and I hope to learn them along the way and be as successful as you.
Annie, thank you for explaining how Pepper went thru some of the same things as Daisy. She's doing a little better today, but I think it's her toenails being too long is part of it. When we take her back to the vet on Friday, he said he would cut them for us, so hopefully that will give her some relief.
I can't wait to hear about your job when you start. You inspire me to think more about getting back out into the work force. It's just I don't even know what to do. All I've ever done was assembly work and went to school for surgical tech, but I never got a job in the field because of my injury to my hand. But I think I will start looking around for something.
Ratkity, YAAAAY on the bicycle outfit fitting!!! That is sucha good feeling to fit into something after a long time. Keep up the good work!
Valerie, how did the first night with Gabe home go? I bet it was awesome having him back. Ride that big boy for me one time!!!
This morning the llamas were roaming our land again. Silly things. The neighbors are boarding them but they seem to like it here better. Our dogs go nuts.
Well, that's it for me,
have a great day and

to those of you who need it!!
Debbie
