  • RONNI ~ ^prayers^ going up for your DS1 and his health issues; plus for his wife and the kids too.

    GARY ~ ^prayers^ continue ...
  • I'm running out of the house now, but prayers for my 5 year old being sedated today for getting a tooth pulled....and I need to see a cardiologist tomorrow....no money for tests, so I don't know what to do, nearly everyone I have talked to has "palpitations" at one time or another during this stage of life, and they come and go, but after a year of waiting and a 3rd Dr telling me to go, I am going ...

if they are stress related, accruing a medical debt on top of our current debt will not help!! we have a 3000 dollar out of pocket before 100% coverage starts....It would be impossible to pay that
  • Prayers continue! Good thoughts for you today Nelly.
  • nelly, prayers for your 5 yr old, and for your health and also for your finances.
  • thanks for the prayers...why am I always running out the door when I'm posting this?

Any how, things went well with our 5 year old. I was not totally comfortable with it, but I was ok and she did fine when they put in the IV, but not when they put in the meds into that. Any how, it went well and they actually pulled 2 extra baby teeth to make room for her permanent ones coming in, which I had to give permission for and was a bit flustered, but after it was done, I saw the xrays and realized it was an excellent plan.

My dr apt was uneventful, was told the same thing as I was before, that I proabably was having an extra beat and I only feel it when it stops after the extra beat. I will have to wear a monitor for a week to see if they can determine it for sure. I actually have had a good week for the past week, and haven't felt anything...they didn't have a monitor available and I will be put on a list. It would cost around $350 after insurance write off.

    Gotta run ....... >>>>>>
  • My little niece Skyleigh has her appointment with the specialist in the morning to see if she has any hearing and sight.

Please keep her in your prayers.
  • Prayers continue for you and your niece. Please keep us updated!!
  • yes praying here as well
  • Gary, I have been wondering about Skyleigh and she will be in my prayers as well as her parents.
Any news from your recent tests, Gary ?
  • ^PRAYERS^ continue for SKYLEIGH (and her parents); and for everyone else here as well ...
  • I'm generally not one to ask for prayers for myself, but today is something out of the ordinary. So ladies (and the few gents), I am asking for it now.

Today I watched a woman that I have been (somewhat) secretly in love with for the last 10 years or so walk out of my life forever. I found out she was leaving last week. I noticed the huge rock on her finger yesterday. I gave her a goodbye hug an hour ago.

I am officially a basket case. If I make it home without crashing it will be a miracle. Once I get there I have to choose which is worse - the gallon of ice cream in the freezer, or the entire contents of the liquor cabinet.

Thank god I already had tomorrow scheduled off.
  • treadmiler, so sorry for the pain you are going through at this time. Remember God can and does heal the brokenhearted.
PS If you must choose between the liquor and the ice cream, take the ice cream.
  • treadmiller...that is very painful, I am sure it is not an easy thing to deal with. I agree, if you must overindulge, Ice cream .... but turn to God and ask for His help as well.
  • Quote: Thank you Ladies! The MRI is finished now the wait....

Prayers for all concerns that have been asked.

    He Is GOOD!
Did I miss the results? I am hoping that slow news is good news. God is watching over you all.
  • TREADMILER ~ well, if I had to choose between the two, I would choose the ice cream too simply becuz alcoholism has more dire consequences overall. The ice cream can be a one-time thing, so it's safer in the short term; but maybe our ^prayers^ will help you too. I like to read positive scriptures and sing songs when I'm down.

JESUS said that He came to heal the broken-hearted ... so ask Him to help you with this situation.

"He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds" ~ Psalm 147:3

"He (GOD) sent me (JESUS) to bind up the broken-hearted" ~ Isaiah 61:1
