Ahhh, and it was work so it's not like a vacation where you can enjoy it a bit!! Sorry my dear, back at it I suppose.

sweetvt I'm sure a good chunk of that 5 lbs was water weight and glycogen stores. I mean, really, it takes 3500 calories to make a pound. It would be really hard to take in 17,500 excess calories during the week (monday-friday) so I'm sure that 5 lbs will be off in no time!

Bummer that it was a work thing though...hopefully you don't have many more of those coming up. If you do maybe you can bring some ready to serve IP snacks (RTD shakes, BBQ or Salt and Vinegar crisps, etc) and just drink club soda with lime (people will assume it's a vodka soda or something).

Update:
3/4 of a bottle of red wine + PMS = 2.8lb weight gain. Obviously, I won't be doing that again! In a way, I'm glad there were negative consequences to my binge, otherwise I might be tempted to try having a glass of wine now and again.

I have gone back to yoga class. I'm aiming for 3 classes/week for now. It's not the high intensity class, so it's coach approved.

Ether - well, at least now you know! I am a little surprised it's so much, but I am sure it will come off next week.

I am SICK SICK SICK. My and my little man are both feeling the effects of a pretty nasty cold. I have no option to stay home as work is mental busy right now, and I need to be here. Bummer! I've been drinking tea and took a bunch of cold meds so here's hoping it doesn't last long and turn into bronchitis like always!

I just got rid of bronchitis. You know what is best remedy? Hot ginger tea with brandy then just sleep all night through.
